    Abstract: A combined bearing assembly comprises a thrust bearing receiving a thrust load with a number of rollers interposed between a planar inner member and a planar outer member, a radial bearing consisting of a radial receiving member secured to the inside diameter of a radial flange, the outer peripheral edge portion of the outer member having an outer flange formed by being axially bent, and a restraining member of L-shaped cross section fitted to the outer flange. The inside diameter dimension of the restraining portion of the restraining member is smaller than the outside diameter dimension of the inner member. The inner member and the outer member are prevented from being separated from each other.

    Abstract: A slide table has two parallel axial ball rolling grooves of Gothic arch-like cross section provided in each of the inclined surfaces of an outwardly opening trapezoidal groove and has axial through-bores providing ball passageways formed rearwardly of the ball rolling grooves. The track shaft has Gothic arch-like ball rolling grooves formed axially thereof and corresponding to the ball rolling grooves of the slide table. Each of the Gothic arch-like ball rolling grooves has a narrow escape groove provided in the bottom thereof. Each of the semicircular ball passageways has a narrow concave groove in the bottom thereof and is in the form of a recess. The retainer comprises a wire rod having a straight portion and semicircularly bent portions extending from the opposite ends of the straight portion. The semicircularly bent portions are engaged with the concave grooves of the side plates. The slide table is supported on the track shaft by four rows of balls which are in four-point contact.

Jets of gas for cleaning use are issued from a bank of stationary or movable nozzles installed in the reactor against the face at the inlet end of the packing section so as to blow off economically and efficiently the dust and other particulate matter that have settled from the gases on the packing section and have grown or bridged as a deposit thereon. The distance from the nozzles to the face of the packing section to be cleaned ranges from 0.2 to 1.0 meter, and the gas jet velocity at the inlet of the same section ranges from 5 to 40 m/sec.

A brake member is in contact with the peripheral surface of the sheet separation roller and a pressure application plate is disposed above the sheet feed roller to bring the sheets into pressure contact with the sheet feed roller. The pressure application plate is movable between its pressure application position and a position substantially away from the sheets whereby the pressure plate may be held away from the sheets when they are being driven by the sheet separation rollers.

The binder is prepared by mixing and plasticizing a radiation-sensitive modified resin with a radiation-sensitive soft resin and subjecting the mixture to radiation cross-linking and polymerization. Process for producing the medium comprises coating the magnetic particles with the titanium coupling agent, blending the coated particles with the binder to form a magnetic coating material, and then applying the material to the substrate.
