Abstract: A lighting fixture can be configured to display reduced visibility of seams and hardware when illuminated. At the junction site between lighting modules of a modular lighting assembly, support hardware can be positioned within corresponding recesses in the respective coupling ends of the connected lighting modules. An outer element can also be wrapped around the respective outer edges of the coupling ends and partially into the junction site adjacent to the support hardware. Connective seams between the wrapped outer edges and support hardware at the junction between lighting modules can thus be de-emphasized when adjacent lighting elements are activated. Multiple, different shaped modules can be combined to create light fixtures of different shapes.
Abstract: Panels and panel assemblies include one or more transition surface features that comprise or provide a transition gradient between a first surface feature and a second surface feature. Surface feature types include surface texturing, coloring, decoration, and so forth. Transition gradients progressively change one or more attributes of the surface feature across the panel surface. Transition surface features begin at a first degree of the attribute at an origin, such as a point, line, or area of the panel or panel assembly, and transition to a different degree while moving away from the origin. Panel assemblies include a non-transitioning panel having a first surface feature type, a non-transitioning panel having a second surface feature type, and a transitioning panel disposed between the non-transitioning panels and having a transition surface feature that provides a transition gradient between the first surface feature type and a second surface feature type.
Abstract: Implementations of the present invention relate to systems, methods, and apparatus for illuminating and/or providing an aesthetically pleasing lighted structure. In particular, implementations of the present invention provide a light fixture, which can incorporate resin elements surrounding a lighted core. Additionally, one or more implementations also include methods of manufacturing the lighted fixture to achieve a desirable aesthetic thereof. Furthermore, in one or more implementations, the light fixture can resemble or imitate a sun, which can appeal to a viewer thereof.
Abstract: An embodiment of the present disclosure provides complex curved structures and methods of making the same without requiring specially made frames or the like. These structures may include complex multi-axis, spherical, semi-spherical, twisted, or other like curves, for example. In this illustrative embodiment, individually sized boxes are stacked or assembled to form the structure.

Abstract: Implementations of the present invention relate to systems, methods, and apparatus for manufacturing aesthetically pleasing, decorative architectural resin panels having high-resolution image layers. In particular, at least one implementation includes a laminated resin panel having a decorative image layer formed from layered or cross-linked ink free from cracks, splits, or other deformation. Additional implementations relate to curved or otherwise non-planar decorative architectural resin panels having high-resolution image layers.
