  • Patent number: 8920138
Abstract: A motor pump unit for a high-pressure cleaning apparatus has an electric motor and a pump. The electric motor has a motor housing that is surrounded by a cooling housing with an annular space having an annular space inlet and an annular space outlet formed therebetween. The pump has a drive housing on which is supported the motor shaft, and has a suction inlet and a pressure outlet. The annular space outlet is fluidly connected to the suction inlet and liquid to be pressurized by the pump is suppliable to the annular space inlet. In order to improve the motor pump unit such that the heat load on the drive housing can be reduced, the drive housing has at least one cooling passage which is arranged upstream of the suction inlet and through which the liquid to be pressurized can flow.

  • Patent number: 8826491
Abstract: The invention relates to a vacuum cleaning appliance having a moveable stand. A suction device mounted on the stand has a device upper part mounted on the stand and a dirt collection container situated beneath the device upper part. The stand has a lifting device and an actuating element pivotable about a horizontal axis for raising and lowering the dirt collection container, which in its raised position abuts against the device upper part in a flow-tight manner, and in its lowered position rests on a floor surface. The actuating element is configured as a push bar having a handle part which, in the raised position of the dirt collection container, may be gripped by the user in a standing posture in order to move the vacuum cleaning appliance, and is upwardly pivotable about the pivot axis by at most 135° in order to lower the dirt collection container.

  • Patent number: 8820659
Abstract: A rotor nozzle for a high-pressure cleaning appliance is provided. The rotor nozzle has a housing, which comprises at least one inlet opening tangentially, and which is provided in a front wall with a pan-shaped depression with a central opening. A nozzle body is arranged in the housing and supported with a spherical end in the pan-shaped depression. A longitudinal axis of the nozzle body is inclined to the longitudinal axis of the housing, it being possible for liquid in the housing to be caused to rotate about the longitudinal axis, and the nozzle body rotating together with the rotating liquid. In order to reduce flow losses in the rotor nozzle, without the operation of the rotor nozzle (in particular, start-up behavior of the nozzle body) being noticeably impaired, the nozzle body is provided with an outer contour deviating from the circular shape in a rear end area.
