  • Patent number: 8567710
Abstract: A cable protection device is designed to prevent a cable from being damaged by rubbing against a helicopter. A protection frame is installed-below a winch 11 connected to a helicopter. A supporting groove is formed on the protection frame, and a slide-contact body is rotatably fitted in the support groove. A part of the slide-contact body is exposed, and the cable hung down from the winch is brought into contact with the exposed portion. The slide contact body is divided into two or more parts, and it is formed by continuously aligning the divided slide-contact bodies of the cylindrical shape. Both ends of the divided slide-contact body are aligned by fitting the recession and the projection of the tapers of the ends of the adjacent divided slide-contact bodies to each other.

  • Patent number: 6081404
Abstract: When an auto-reverse is designated in the state of the magnetic tape of a cassette being transferred in a first direction with a planetary gear meshing with a first reel gear, a motor reverses, and also a central gear reverses such that the planetary gear starts revolving around the central gear away from the first reel gear. The planetary gear meshes with a mode changing gear, and rotate the mode changing gear, a projection and a switching member. In accordance with the rotation of the switching member, a head base moves horizontally and a magnetic head separates from the magnetic tape. Further, a bent piece on the head base abuts against a stopper, due to which the revolution of the planetary gear stops, and the planetary gear stays to assuredly transmit the revolution of the central gear to the mode changing gear. Moreover, the projection while in rotation presses a slider. As the slider slides, the magnetic head turns 180.degree..

  • Patent number: 6062942
Abstract: A rotation control unit is disposed on an intersection portion. The rotation control unit has a plurality of blocks and extends into a running way of an automotive toy. As an automotive toy enters an intersection from a running way, the automotive toy pushes a block to rotate a rotation control unit. Due to this rotation, the block is moved away from the running way and the automotive toy on the running way is made movable. A block is placed on the other running way to close it so that the other automotive toy is prevented from entering the intersection portion. While the automotive toy is passing the intersection, the rotation control unit retains this state. After the automotive toy has passed the intersection portion, the pressure applied to the block is removed and the rotation control unit is returned to its original position, whereby the automotive toy can enter the intersection portion from the other running way.

  • Patent number: 6032334
Abstract: A handle apparatus includes a spring member formed of a wire rod is bent in an approximately U-shape. Both tip end portions of the spring member formed in the approximately U-shape are bent approximately at a right angle and are shaft portions for rotating the approximately U-shaped portions. Both the shaft portions are set such that the axial lines of the shaft portions are not in conformity with each other. Both the shaft portions are made to be members for generating a biasing force in accordance with rotating positions. The spring member 3 is used as a member for generating the biasing force for performing a pop-up operation. A base member 4 and a handle grip member 2 are connected to each other through a pair of spring members 3. The handle grip member is held on a side of the base member against the biasing of the spring members by a lock mechanism 50 arranged on the base member side.

  • Patent number: 5966005
Abstract: An integrated circuit is provided for sourcing a mirrored current into a high impedance output node. A load may be coupled to the output node, and the mirrored current may be derived proportional to or substantially equal to current forwarded from a reference current source. The integrated circuit, or current mirror, includes a pair of series-connected output transistors coupled between the output node and a reference terminal. One of the output transistors is dimensioned with a channel that is short enough to ensure the threshold voltage of that transistor is smaller than the threshold voltage of the other transistor having a longer channel. Thus, one transistor utilizes the benefits of high density integrated circuit manufacture and, more specifically, short channel effects arising from channel length less than, e.g., 1.0 microns.

  • Patent number: 5868600
Abstract: A toy car has a body with front and rear wheels, wheel support members with rightward/leftward travel wheels, and an elevating mechanism for lifting up and down the wheel support members in order to set the rightward/leftward travel wheels with respect to the body in positions higher than the front and rear wheels and positions which is lower than the front and rear wheels and in which the rightward/leftward travel wheels are in contact with the ground. When the wheel support members are in lifting-up positions, the front and rear wheels, not the rightward/leftward travel wheels, are in contact with the ground, and the toy car travels forward or backward. When the wheel support members are in lifting-down positions, the rightward/leftward travel wheels, not the front and rear wheels, are in contact with the ground, the toy car travels rightward or leftward.

  • Patent number: 5813894
Abstract: A runnable block including a block body having a first engage projection and first engage recess respectively provided on the top and bottom surfaces of the block body, and four wheels rotatably attached to both sides of the block body via wheel shafts. A part of each wheel of this block protrudes farther downward than a lowermost surface including the lower engage section, and the diameter of each wheel is set approximately equal to the distance from the top of the first engage projection to the bottom of the first engage recess. As one block is coupled to another block by engaging the first engage projection of the former block to the first engage recess of the latter block, the wheels of both blocks mutually contact each other. This contact allows the rotation of one wheel to be transmitted to the other wheel, so that when the coupled blocks run, all the wheels of the blocks rotate.

  • Patent number: 5608702
Abstract: A light pickup 4 is adapted to receive reflected light from a disc 1 and to input a signal into a determination means 12 while moving in the radial direction of the disc 1. The determination means 12 not only determines the current position of the light pickup but also calculates the time required for the light pickup 4 to move until reaching the signal-recording inner circular end of the disc, on the basis of the signal from the light pickup. The determination means 12 determines that no disc is set when there is no reflected light from the disc. The determination means 12 determines the size of the diameter of the disc 1 on the basis of the current position of the light pickup 4. The disc player has a structure in which it is not necessary to provide a switch for detecting the signal-recording inner circular end of the disc, a sensor for detecting the size of the diameter of the disc and a sensor for detecting whether or not the disc is set.
