    Abstract: The present invention provides pre-expanded noncrosslinked polyethylene resin beads which are made of a mixed resin, as a base resin, comprising a high-pressure-process low-density polyethylene, a linear low-density polyethylene, and a linear high-density polyethylene and, when analyzed with a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), give a fusion endothermic curve which is a mountain-shaped curve having a single peak and in which, when the peak point of the mountain-shaped curve is referred to as A, the point of intersection of the perpendicular line drawn to the temperature axis from A and the base line of the fusion endothermic curve is referred to as B, and the two points at which the straight line drawn through the point C interiorly dividing segment AB in the perpendicular line in a ratio of 9:1 and parallel to the temperature axis intersects the fusion endothermic curve are referred to as D and E, then that temperature width of the mountain-shaped curve part which is the length of segment DE is 15.

In accordance with the present invention, a porous crystalline aromatic polyether ketone membrane is provided which is excellent in heat resistance, chemical resistance, water resistance, water permeability and a balance of water permeability and fractionating characteristics.

The process comprises carrying out the ammoxidation such that the organic acid/unreacted ammonia ratio in an ammoxidation product gas is controlled to remain within the range from 0.8 to 3.0 inclusive in a reactor, introducing the ammoxidation product gas into a quench tower, and reacting in the tower the unreacted ammonia with the organic acid produced in a reactor, to fix the unreacted ammonia as an ammonium salt of the organic acid.

(R.sup.1).sub.p (R.sup.2).sub.q (OR.sup.3).sub.r ; and(ii) an Si--H bond-containing chlorosilane compound represented by the formula: H.sub.a SiCl.sub.b R.sup.4.sub.4-(a+b), in a ratio of from 0.01 to 100 mol (ii) per mol (i);(II) reacting the solid (A-1) with an alcohol (A-2) in a ratio of from 0.05 to 20 mol of the alcohol per mol of C--Mg bonds contained in the solid (A-1), to form a reaction product; and(III) reacting the reaction product with a titanium compound (A-4). The solid catalyst component (A) is adjusted to have an alkoxy group/titanium molar ratio of 2.4 or lower and an alkoxy group/magnesium molar ratio of 0.15 or lower.
