The method further includes generating an order for the product in response to a request to purchase the product.

Abstract: Method, devices, systems, and computer program products for managing and delivering a live media stream associated with a network-enabled media recording device are provided. A method includes receiving a network address for transmitting the live media stream captured by the network-enabled media recording device. The method also includes assigning a user identification to the live media stream. The user identification is associated with the network-enabled media recording device. The method further includes transmitting the live media stream and user identification via the network-enabled media recording device over a network.

Abstract: A system and method for controlling, by an outside entity, one or more devices associated with a location. A representative embodiment of the system architecture comprises an internal computer system through which a device may be remotely controlled by the outside entity during a communication session between the outside entity and the internal computer system through an external computer network. The external computer network can be the Internet. When the outside entity is requested to control the device, the outside entity's identity information is authenticated before the communication session is established. In a preferred embodiment, the internal computer system is protected by a firewall. The firewall allows the outside entity to access the internal computer system to control the device if the outside entity can provide proper identity information. The identity information of the outside entity may be a password that is recognized by the firewall.

Abstract: Methods, systems, appaatuses, and computer program products provide call data associated with calls to and from a mobile communication appartus. The call data supports a web-accessible call log feature that presents a summary of calling activity to a subscriber of communication services. The metod involves completing a call to or from the mobile communication apparatus, storing call data associated with the completed call in a memory of the mobile communications apparatus, and substantially in real time, sending the call data to a management server associated ith the web-accessible call log feature.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to methods, systems, and storage mediums for managing content storage and selection activities. The method includes aggregating content from content providers and presenting the content to a content device. The method also includes monitoring consumption of storage space with respect to storage capacity in the content device, relocating content contained in the storage space of the content device when a predetermined condition is met, and providing access to relocated content. The relocation is operable for freeing up the storage space of the content device.

Abstract: A system and methods to optimize the resource planning of ADSL services is provided. In an illustrative implementation, a network management system (NMS) communicates with an ADSL network to provision resources for participating users. The provisioning process yields a permanent virtual circuit (PVC). Included in the provisioning process is the creation and management of configuration variables, such as, the virtual path identifier (VPI) and the virtual circuit identifier (VCI). The VPI/VCI combination uniquely identifies each PVC. If the provisioning process is aborted or fails, it may be reanimated by the NMS using the VPI/VCI combination. In this implementation, the VPI may be set to a certain value and the VCI value calculated using ADSL configuration values (e.g. the physical connection position on a first, second, third, etc. ADSL network component.) The deterministic nature of the VPI and VCI configuration variables assist the NMS to track and optimize available resources.

Abstract: A method of managing proactive maintenance tasks for a communication system. The method includes storing proactive maintenance tasks and searching the tasks using at least one search criteria. Deletion of a proactive maintenance tasks is permitted if the proactive maintenance task has not been sent to a technician dispatch module which dispatches proactive maintenance tasks to technicians. Exclusion of proactive maintenance tasks is permitted if the proactive maintenance task has been sent to the technician dispatch module.

Abstract: A portable telecommunication test set, such as a telephone line butt set, with a web browser incorporated therein. A standard HTML (Hyper Text Mark-up Language) or WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) browser may be incorporated within the portable test set, allowing a network technician to access the Internet as well as other remotely-located sources of information to retrieve data and other useful technical information while in the field for communication network or telephone line maintenance, troubleshooting or repair. The test set may contain memory to locally store certain technical information, e.g., telephone line-specific data or circuit information, that may be retrieved and “read” by the built-in browser module when prompted by the network technician. The web browser may display the content of the requested information on a display provided on the test set.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for navigating during playback of media content on a content viewing device are provided. A method includes associating a descriptor with a time element. The time element references an instantiation of the descriptor in a content file. The method also includes applying a reference tag that identifies the descriptor to a location on the navigational search structure associated with the content file. The location is determined by the time element. The method further includes displaying the reference tag on the navigational search structure at the content viewing device while viewing the content file in playback mode.

Abstract: A communications system for an alarm panel including: an alarm panel adaptor in operable communication with the alarm panel generating analog alarm signals; a first powerline communications device in operable communication with a the alarm panel adaptor converting the analog alarm signals to powerline alarm signals; a second powerline communications device receiving the powerline alarm signals over an electrical grid and converting the powerline alarm signals to internet protocol alarm signals; and a broadband connection in operable communication with the second powerline communications device for transmitting the internet protocol alarm signals to a remote central control station.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to methods, systems, and computer program products for providing consolidated order information. Methods include receiving one or more order numbers corresponding to customer orders for network provider services. Information corresponding to the orders numbers are retrieved from a plurality of sources including order summary data, order detail data, customer data and network data. The retrieved information is stored as consolidated order data. A request for a report is received from a user. The request includes selection criteria specifying a subset of the consolidated order data. The report is created by applying the selection criteria to the consolidated order data and the report is transmitted to the user.

Abstract: A cookie management system serves as a central storage location for information and other data on users. A user's machine contains a cookie having a key and the cookie management system associates user information with this key. Upon receiving a request from a user, a web site retrieves the key from the user's machine and queries the cookie management system for the user information. The cookie management system retrieves the data associated with the key and returns the user information to the site. The sites therefore do not need to store information on all users nor do they need to place their own cookies on the user's machine. If sites obtain more data about a user during an interaction, the sites send this data to the cookie management system which updates its database. The user's machine may contain multiple cookies that correspond to different people and the site can prompt the user to select the appropriate one.

Finally, the method includes transmitting a second signal including a second data message to the mobile transceiver device. Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide message notification systems and methods. Briefly described, one embodiment of a message notification method can be broadly summarized by the following: receiving a new message at a first inbox of a recipient, the new message having a request for a triggering event to be set such that a notification message for the new message is sent to a second inbox if the triggering event occurs and setting the triggering event if a first messaging device is set by the recipient to allow sender-forced notifications. Other methods and systems are also provided.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide message notification systems and methods. Briefly described, one embodiment of a message notification method can be broadly summarized by the following: receiving a new message at a first inbox of a recipient; determining existence of at least one trigger for determining if a notification is to be sent for a newly received message at the first inbox; and sending a notification alerting the recipient of the arrival of the new message at the first inbox, the notification being sent to a second inbox of the recipient that is different than the first inbox. Abstract: Systems, methods, and a storage medium for storing and securely transmitting digital media data in a networked system are provided. The method includes determining an amount of memory for storing the digital media data. The method further includes querying a plurality of network computers to determine an amount of available memory in a plurality of memory storage devices associated with the plurality of network computers. The method further includes receiving the digital media data and partitioning the digital media data into a plurality of digital media data sets. The method further includes encrypting the plurality of digital media data sets into a plurality of encrypted digital media data sets using at least one encryption key value. The method further includes storing the plurality of encrypted digital media data sets in at least two of the plurality of memory storage devices associated with the plurality of network computers.

At least one embodiment of a method includes receiving a message waiting indicator signal in a first protocol, the message waiting indicator signal being received from a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) based voicemail server, the message waiting indicator signal being configured to indicate that a message for a called party has been received by the PSTN based voicemail server. Some embodiment of a method include receiving a PSTN based identifier for an Internet Protocol (IP) based communications device associated with the called party and converting the received message waiting indicator signal from the first protocol to a second protocol, the second protocol being configured for communication to the IP based communications device.

Abstract: Embodiment of the present disclosure can also be viewed as providing methods for inputting characters into a user interface. In this regard, one embodiment of such a method, among others, can be broadly summarized by the following: receiving a character string; determining possible keywords corresponding to the character string based upon context in which the character string is input; and providing at least a subset of the possible keywords to allow selection of at least one of the keywords in the at least a subset if a keyword of interest is found.
