Abstract: The method and system described herein provides an interface for accessing a database containing information pertaining to traffic conditions. Using the interface, a driver can receive traffic conditions potentially affecting the driver's particular commute, just prior to the time at which the driver chooses between one or more routes for the commute. Several embodiments are disclosed in accordance with the present invention by which the driver can easily receive timely traffic information from the interface via the driver's wireless communications device, such as a wireless telephone.

Abstract: A wearable wireless telecommunications headset may include at least a microphone, a speaker, a transceiver, a processor and a memory. The headset processes audio commands from a user, recognizing the commands and executing them appropriately. The headset communicates with multiple communication devices, answering incoming communications from any devices in range and announcing identity information about an initiator of the communication, as well as initiating outgoing communications by recognizing a spoken communications address, or recognizing and looking up a spoken name in a locally or remotely stored address book.

Abstract: Systems and methods for modeling a subscriber network experience. In one embodiment, a method includes the act of receiving a plurality of subscriber metrics associated with a subscriber to an access network. The method also includes the act of modeling the subscriber experience by applying at least one transformation to the plurality of subscriber metrics to produce a set of subscriber experience data. The metrics measure quality of service for a subscriber experience with the access network. Each element of the subscriber experience data quantifies an aspect of the subscriber experience.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for implementing a custom, interactive call flow are provided. The method includes receiving a sequence of user inputs provided as part of an interactive call. The sequence of user inputs includes data path inputs, security inputs, administrative inputs, and a termination input. The method also includes identifying placement of the security inputs in the sequence, removing the administrative inputs and the security inputs from the sequence, and creating a custom sequence including the data path inputs, a placeholder representing the placement of the security inputs, and the termination input. The method also includes invoking a custom call flow from the custom sequence.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and articles of manufacture for displaying user-selection controls associated with clusters on a GUI are provided. One exemplary method includes automatically generating a first table having URLs associated with websites accessed by at least one user over a time interval and content information associated with the URLs. The method further includes automatically determining cluster names for grouping the URLs based on the content information. Each cluster name has at least one URL associated therewith. The method further includes automatically generating a second table having the cluster names and URLs associated with the cluster names. The method further includes displaying the GUI having the user-selection controls associated with the cluster names on a display device, utilizing the second table.

Such a method comprises receiving location information regarding a communications device; selecting alerting information based on the location of the communications device; and transmitting to the communications device information pertaining to the alerting information. The method includes determining an activity relating to a program listed on an EPG and, upon determining that an advertisement exists for the program, retrieving the advertisement and instructing EPG software to insert the advertisement within an allotted advertisement space provided by the EPG software.

One exemplary method includes receiving an incoming message for a user account, determining whether at least one messaging impairment associated with the user account is present, storing the received message into a first storage location associated with the user account when no messaging impairment is present, and storing the received message into a second storage location associated with the user account when the at least one impairment is present.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for providing media management services for multi-platform media devices are provided. The method includes receiving a first request from a media device for a media file via a network. The method also includes associating the media file with an account record established for an account holder specified in the first request. The method further includes recording the media file and identifying a device platform for the media device. The method also includes providing the media device with access to the recorded media file by converting the recorded media file to the device platform and streaming the converted, recorded media file to the media device over the network.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for performing differential media time calculation and display are provided. A method includes determining a time of media origination, determining a current time, and calculating a differential media time as a difference between the current time and the time of media origination. The method also includes using the differential media time to determine information update data and outputting the information update data for display.

The item may involve a service provided by a service provider for the user, where the information submitted by the user is network-accessible by a client machine of the service provider. The method further includes enabling the service provider to submit information regarding the item being disputed by the user in the interactive forum, where the information submitted by the service provider is network-accessible by a client machine of the user. A decision is made whether to market the intellectual property asset based at least in part on the marketing assessment. If the marketing assessment meets a predetermined threshold, the intellectual property asset is marketed.

According to one embodiment, a calling party uses a Caller ID Messaging Device that supplants the incoming calling line identification (ICLID) signal with a Caller ID Messaging Signal and transmits the Caller ID Messaging Signal to a destination communications address. An alternate embodiment provides that the calling party may use a conventional telephone to access a communications network, activate Caller ID Messaging Services, compose or retrieve a stored Caller ID Message of the Caller ID Messaging Signal, and transmit the Caller ID Messaging Signal to the destination communications address. The Caller ID Message and Caller ID Messaging Signal may include text, video, voice, and/or digital data.
