Abstract: A web material dispenser includes a housing and a pivotable roll support assembly provided therein. A first mandrel is provided at a first attachment location of the roll support assembly to support a first roll of web material. A second mandrel is provided at a second location of the roll support assembly to support a second roll of web material. The web material dispenser permits one-handed operation to replace the rolls of web material and to change positions of the mandrels within the dispenser. The roll support assembly may have a linkage arm and/or a roll support arm. Positions of the first and second mandrels relative to the dispenser's opening can be switched by pivoting the linkage arm relative to the housing and by pivoting the roll support arm relative to the linkage arm. A method for switching positions of rolls in the web material dispenser is also provided.

Abstract: A web material dispenser for housing two or more rolls is provided. The web material dispenser includes a housing having a fixed housing portion provided with a first roll support assembly coupled thereto for supporting a first roll of web material. The housing further has a movable housing portion, movable between a closed position and an open position, provided with a second roll support assembly coupled thereto for supporting a second roll of web material. The fixed and movable housing portions defining a housing chamber therebetween when the movable portion is in the closed position, for at least partially enclosing the two or more rolls of web material within the housing chamber. The movable portion is moved to the open position for providing access to the two or more rolls and allowing replacement of at least one of the first and second rolls.

Abstract: There is provided a sheet product dispenser including a housing defining a product containing chamber and having an opening defined in a top portion thereof; and at least one product size adjustment plate insertable in the product containing chamber, detachably engageable with the housing, and obstructing at least partially the opening when engaged with the housing. There is also provided a kit of product size adjustment plates to be used in combination with a sheet product dispenser and a method to convert a sheet product dispenser.

Abstract: The back wall for a web material dispenser having first and second web material support arms configured to support a web material supply. The back wall includes a fastening portion configured to mount the back wall to a supporting surface; a first support arm portion for the first web material support arm to be mounted thereto; and a weakness-providing junction at least partially circumscribing the first support arm portion from the fastening portion for the first support arm portion to be tiltable with respect to the fastening portion. Also, a web material dispenser including such a back wall and a method for securing a web material dispenser to a supporting surface.

Abstract: A roll support assembly for a web material dispenser configured to contain a roll of web material having a first interior end. The roll support assembly includes a roll support mountable into the web material dispenser and including a roll-engaging portion with a peripheral wall engageable into the first interior end of the roll of web material with the roll of web material being rotatable relative to the roll support when engaged therewith and when a pulling force is exerted on the web material; and a rotation brake comprising at least one braking protrusion protruding outwardly from the peripheral wall of the roll-engaging portion and decelerating the rotation of the roll of web material by frictionally engaging at least one of directly and indirectly the roll of web material. The disclosure also concerns a web material roll dispenser with such a roll support assembly.

Abstract: A rolled product dispenser for dispensing a web of rolled product, comprising: a housing; and a dispensing assembly at least partially housed in the housing and interacting with the web of rolled product and including a dispensing roller having a rotation center and a peripheral wall with an upper section. The dispensing assembly can comprise an upper tensioning assembly and/or a lower tensioning assembly and/or a variable tension return assembly.
