Abstract: There is provided a rolled product dispenser for dispensing a web of rolled product. The rolled product dispenser includes a housing, a dispensing assembly operationally connected to the housing and interacting with the web of the rolled product and a cutting assembly cooperating with the dispensing assembly to sever the web of rolled product. The cutting assembly includes at least two cutting blades, each one of the cutting blades having a first end and a second end. The first end is pivotally mounted and the second end is operationally connected to a guiding assembly for guiding the blade between a cutting position and a non-cutting position.
Abstract: A rolled product dispenser for dispensing a web of rolled product is described. The rolled product dispenser comprises a dispensing assembly, a return mechanism, and a blocking mechanism. The dispensing assembly includes a rotating drum assembly having a peripheral wall configured to be contoured at least partially by the web of rolled product. The rotating drum assembly is rotatable in a dispensing rotation direction and a counter dispensing rotation direction along at least 90 degrees. The return mechanism biases the rotating drum towards a stationary configuration by rotating same in the counter dispensing rotation direction. The blocking mechanism is engageable with the rotating drum assembly to prevent rotation thereof in the counter dispensing rotation direction beyond at least one predetermined angular position.
Abstract: A rolled product dispenser for dispensing a web of rolled product, comprising: a housing; and a dispensing assembly at least partially housed in the housing and interacting with the web of rolled product and including a dispensing roller having a rotation center and a peripheral wall with an upper section. The dispensing assembly can comprise an upper tensioning assembly and/or a lower tensioning assembly and/or a variable tension return assembly.
Abstract: A method of stacking a plurality of absorbent sheet products is provided. In an embodiment, the method includes folding an absorbent sheet inwardly along a first folding line to form a first inner panel, folding the absorbent sheet inwardly along a second folding line, substantially parallel to the first folding line, to form a second inner panel, folding the absorbent sheet along a third folding line substantially perpendicular to the first and the second folding lines to form a first outer panel and a second outer panel, sandwiching the first and the second inner panels therebetween to obtain one of the absorbent sheet products, and inserting at least a section of at least one of the first and the second outer panels of each one of the absorbent sheet products between the first and the second outer panels of an adjacent one of absorbent sheet products of the stack.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition having activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The composition is a) a composition comprising at least two organic acids selected from the group consisting of lactic acid, acetic acid, benzoic acid and citric acid; b) a composition comprising at least two bacteriocin selected from the group consisting of pediocin, Nisin and reuterin; c) a composition comprising pediocin and at least two organic acids selected from the group consisting of lactic acid, acetic acid, benzoic acid and citric acid; or d) a composition comprising reuterin and at least one organic acid selected from the group consisting of lactic acid, acetic acid, benzoic acid and citric acid. The present invention also relates to the use of said compositions for sanitizing and/or disinfecting surfaces and method thereof.

Abstract: A stack of interfolded absorbent sheet products comprising a plurality of absorbent sheets and a method of folding and stacking the same. Each one of the absorbent sheets is folded twice about a first axis to define two inwardly folded inner panels and at least once about a second axis to define at least two outer panels sandwiching the inner panels therebetween. The second axis is substantially perpendicular to the first axis, Each of the absorbent sheet products comprises at least one outer panel at least partially sandwiched between a pair of outer panels of an adjacent one of the absorbent sheet products of the stack. Each one of the absorbent sheet products is entirely detached from all other absorbent sheet products of the stack.
Abstract: A flexible cellulosic fiber-based material including: a core portion having a geometrically patterned structure defining two spaced-apart substantially planar faces and providing air space therebetween, the core portion including cellulosic fiber-based walls having a core grammage; and at least one cellulosic fiber-based liner bonded to a respective one of the planar faces of the core portion and having a liner grammage lower than the core grammage, the material being flexible along a plane defined by the at least one liner.
