Abstract: A printable sheet assembly and method provide for feeding cardstock sheets through a printer. The printable sheet assembly may include a first fold region. The first fold region comprises a robust perforated line disposed horizontally across the sheet assembly. The printable sheet assembly may include a second fold region. The second fold region may comprise a second robust perforated line disposed horizontally across the sheet assembly. The sheet assembly may include a product such as a name tag, business card, label, or card formed into the sheet assembly and configured to be processed through a printer device to receive indicia thereon.
Abstract: A label sheet assembly and method is disclosed for improving the process of feeding label sheets through a printer. The label sheet assembly may include a facestock layer and a liner sheet. The facestock layer may include an adhesive layer along at least a portion of a first side and include a label surface along at least a portion of the second side opposite the adhesive layer. The facestock layer may include at least one cut line that defines at least one label within the facestock layer while the remaining portions of the facestock layer may be a matrix portion. The matrix portion may include at least one discontinuous cut line spaced from the cut line that defines at least one label wherein the discontinuous cut line may create a zone of decreased bending stiffness along the label sheet assembly.
Abstract: A heat transfer sheet assembly and method is disclosed for improving the process of removing the carrier layer from a facestock layer. The heat transfer sheet assembly may include a heat transfer facestock layer and a carrier layer. The facestock layer may be attached to the carrier layer and include an indicia receptive surface along a side opposite the carrier layer. The carrier layer may include at least one peel line that extends from opposite edges of the assembly wherein the peel line assist to remove the carrier layer from the heat transfer facestock layer once indicia is printed on the facestock layer.

Abstract: A printing system and method of printing are provided herein. The printing system may generate custom user designs for printing. The designs may be associated with a selected print medium. The print medium may have a particular layout. The printing system may convert the design for printing on other print media without requiring user alteration or input of the design. In another aspect, the printing system may facilitate printing the designs via local printers and/or via professional printers. Accordingly, printing of designs on different print-receptive media items can be accomplished.
