  • Patent number: 5707857
Abstract: The contaminated soil is first treated by spreading a nutrient for aerobic microbial flora of the N/P type in oleophilic form, then by the addition of straw and of a hydrophilic nutrient of the N/P/K type which are buried by mechanical mixing. A biological process takes place which brings the hydrocarbon content below 500 mg/kg of soil after some months. The oleophilic nutrient N/P is preferably a microemulsion of a solution of N/P salts in a fat-soluble hydrocarbon solvent.

  • Patent number: 5308631
Abstract: The process comprises bringing into contact a naturally alcoholic beer with a hydrophobic zeolite, separating the aqueous eluent phase from the adsorbent, thermally desorbing the adsorbed products, recovering the desorbed phase and separating it by distillation into an alcoholate and an aromatized phase, then reconstituting an alcohol-free beer by mixing the dealcoholized aqueous phase and the aromatized phase with, secondarily, saturation of the reconstituted beer with gaseous carbon dioxide. The reconstituted beer preserves the organoleptic properties of the initial beer.

  • Patent number: 5292468
Abstract: A process for the manufacture of a hot-melt, pressure-sensitive adhesive substance with surfces that are not sticky or self-adhesive, which includes casting such a substance in a mold that has been previously coated with a protective web created by spinning a hot-melt, non-pressure-sensitive adhesive and of protecting the surface of the casting with a similar web. For this purpose, fiberization nozzles are advantageously employed. These protective webs are very resistant and, since they participate in the solidity of the block, they make possible the flexible packaging of adhesives with a low mass mechanical strength.
