  • Patent number: 9608503
Abstract: An actuator has an electrically conductive coil which has a longitudinal axis and windings through which a current can flow. The coil is surrounded by a highly permeable first ferromagnetic body so that the first body has projections of highly permeable ferromagnetic material above and below the coil in the longitudinal direction. The actuator has a magnet spaced apart from the coil so that a gap forms therebetween. The magnet is surrounded by a highly permeable second ferromagnetic body so that the second body has projections of highly permeable ferromagnetic material above and below the magnet in the longitudinal direction. The magnet is statically mounted with the second body and the coil is spring mounted with the first body so that the coil and first body oscillate in the longitudinal direction when an alternating current flows through the coil. The coil is outside the magnet perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 9366309
Abstract: A switchable mount includes a partition wall which partitions a working chamber from a compensating chamber. A first diaphragm is arranged in the partition wall so as to be deflectable in the longitudinal direction of the mount. A switching actuator controls the diaphragm and, in a first state thereof, the diaphragm is fixed in a rest position and, in a second state thereof, the diaphragm is released to move in the longitudinal direction of the mount. A second diaphragm is arranged in the partition wall and is deflected in the longitudinal direction of the mount to influence the volume of the working chamber. An air chamber is arranged between the first diaphragm and the second diaphragm. In the first state of the actuator, the air chamber is closed off air-tight to the atmosphere and, in the second current-conducting state of the actuator, is connected to the atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 9022368
Abstract: A switchable, hydraulic damping mount includes a work chamber filled with hydraulic fluid and a compensation chamber connected to the work chamber via a channel. • Patent number: 8834085
Abstract: An injection molded part accommodates a threaded fastener and includes a metal insert. The insert defines a longitudinal axis and has an end face and an outer peripheral surface. A cutout extends from the end face and through the insert to permit the threaded fastener to extend therethrough. A plastic body surrounds the outer peripheral surface and has a threaded fastener contact face. The threaded fastener contact face of the plastic, body is recessed at a recessed distance below the end face of the insert which has a spring constant with respect to the longitudinal axis. The recessed distance and the spring constant are selected to deform the insert in response to a stress force applied to the end face thereof by the threaded fastener to cause a pregiven component of the stress force to be introduced into the threaded fastener contact face of the plastic body.

  • Patent number: 8616537
Abstract: A hydraulic mount includes a closable bypass and a decoupling membrane. When the bypass is opened, however, the main effect that can be achieved by opening the bypass, namely the decrease in the spring rate at higher frequencies, is worsened. It is thus desirable to render the decoupling membrane ineffective when the bypass is open. The aim is achieved in that the closure device of the bypass includes blocking elements for blocking the decoupling membrane in the first switching position of the closure device when the bypass is open and can be released in the second position of the closure device when the bypass is closed.

Abstract: A hydraulic bearing includes a support spring made of elastomeric material and a hydraulic volume partitioned into a work chamber and a compensating chamber. A partition wall is disposed between the two chambers and includes a transfer channel. For acoustic decoupling, a membrane-like decoupling element is seated and is displacement limited between two lattice plates. The decoupling element is made of flexible elastic material and is clamped laterally to be pressure tight. The decoupling membrane is radially prestressed for matching the acoustic decoupling to specific disturbing frequencies (hum frequencies). This prestressing takes place preferably because of the shrink process during vulcanization of the decoupling membrane which is made of raw rubber. The decoupling membrane can have a peripheral bead and at least one transverse strut. The strut can have a reinforcement insert.

The ratio of the effective cross-sectional area (A1) of the work chamber to the cross-sectional area (A2) of the channel lies preferably between 0.1 and 10 while the ratio of the length (L) of the transfer channel to the total cross-sectional area (A2) of the transfer channel is in the range of 0.1 to 4.0.
