Abstract: The improved low cost cup and container for storing and dispensing liquids has a scoop-like or glug-reducing separator that separates the volume of the container into two sections, the liquid storage section and the liquid pouring section. It resists spilling and pours more smoothly than prior containers. When the improved cup and container is tilted for pouring, such that the liquid level inside the storage section of container chamber is higher than the liquid level at the mouth opening of the liquid pouring section, no liquid pours out of the container. The liquid starts to flow out of the mouth opening only after the container is tilted beyond a predetermined start-to-pour angle. The start-to-pour angle is reached when the container is tilted permitting the outside air to pass through the pouring section and into the storage section. The improved container can use two covers or a scoop-like-separator-adapter.

Abstract: A self-moving alarm clock shakes the user awake in addition to providing an audible alarm. The device includes a housing with a cavity therein to house an alarm clock. A housing moving mechanism, which moves the housing from a first position to a second position, is electrically connected to the alarm clock. When an alarm signal is activated by the alarm clock upon an alarm event, the housing moving mechanism is activated to move the housing repeatedly from position to position. A switch on the housing is used to turn off the audible alarm and the housing moving mechanism. Since the switch is located on the housing which is moving, the user must locate, chase, pick up, then hold onto the housing during which time the user is shaken awake while they are turning off the alarm switch.

Abstract: A bedding accessory for storing a plurality of articles in the space fully beneath a bed frame includes a sheet portion, side portions appended to an edge of the sheet portion, and storage compartments formed on the side portions. The sheet portion is placed in substantially covering relation to an upper surface of a mattress support structure. The side portions are arranged to hang downwardly from the sheet portion adjacent the space beneath the bed frame. Each storage compartment is configured to retain at last one article therein and is comprised of an outer panel facing outwardly away from the bed frame and an inner panel facing inwardly toward the space beneath the bed frame. The inner and outer panels of each storage compartment jointly define an opening for receipt of an article, and the compartment substantially retains the article in the space fully beneath the bed frame.

Abstract: A food serving tray assembly includes a serving platter and a receptacle platter. The serving platter includes a disposal opening and serving wells for receiving food items. The receptacle platter and serving platter releasably couple to one another in a serving configuration and a transport configuration. An improvement includes the serving platter having an outer peripheral wall and a plurality of dividing walls defining and separating adjacent serving wells; and the serving platter being generally received within the outer peripheral wall of the receptacle platter with the bottom of the receptacle platter and the dividing walls of the serving platter collectively isolating the wells from one another when the food serving tray assembly is in the transport configuration.

Abstract: A method of making a food serving tray assembly comprising the step of molding a hand portable container such that the container has a serving platter and a receptacle platter. The serving platter includes a disposal opening and serving wells for receiving food items. The receptacle platter and serving platter releasably couple to one another in a serving configuration and a transport configuration. Abstract: A container includes a bowl having a bowl interior space for holding solid material and a bowl opening for accessing the interior space of the bowl from an exterior of the bowl. The container also includes a bowl support having a bowl support interior space within which the bowl is located and a bowl support opening for accessing the interior space of the bowl support from an exterior of the container. The bowl is biased toward an upright orientation of the bowl independent of the rotational orientation of the bowl support. The bowl support opening overlies the bowl opening when both the bowl and the bowl support are in respective upright orientations, and the bowl support covers the bowl openings when the bowl support is tilted.

Abstract: An image projector display device projecting an image onto a surface substantially parallel to a path of light emitted through a representation of an image and a projection/objective lens. The display device compensates for the varying distances of the surface onto to which the image is projected from the projection/objective lens to display a clear, non-distorted image.

Abstract: An exercise device comprises a frame, including a pair of arcuate rails having a central curved portion, a first end, and a second end. The pair of rails are disposed in fixed parallel relation with one another with a first end member interconnecting the first ends of the rails and a second end member interconnecting the second ends of the rails. The exercise device further comprises a platform operatively connected to the frame for supporting a person thereon. The device may be oriented in various orientations including: 1) a rocking orientation wherein the curved portions of the pair of rails abut a surface on which the device is placed such that the device may move in a rocking motion relative to the surface and 2) a stationary orientation wherein the first end member and the second end member abut the surface on which the device is placed such that the device is stationary relative to the surface.

Abstract: A handheld, portable cutting board assembly includes a cutting board and a frame configured to support the cutting board within a top portion thereof such that a major surface of the cutting board is exposed for use as a cutting surface. The frame also is further configured to receive and retain the cutting board within a bottom portion thereof for storage.

Abstract: An apparatus for securely holding and protecting a layout of elements includes a portfolio having a first cover and a first overlay. The first overlay and the first cover are releasably cohered together, preferably utilizing magnetic forces. A loose arrangement of elements can be secured to a work surface of the first cover using the first overlay for safe storage and transport. The apparatus is used in rubber stamping design, stained-glass design, and quilting design.

Abstract: The improved low cost Spill-Resistant Cup for storing and dispensing liquids resists spilling when shaken or vibrated suddenly. The improved cup has a scoop-like-baffle and a push tab that separates the body of the cup with the mouthpiece of the cover. An opening is created when the push tab is pressed and the push tab springs back to close the opening when the pressure is released. When the improved cup is tilted and the tab pushed down for pouring, such that the liquid level inside the storage chamber of the cup chamber is higher than the liquid level at the opening, no liquid pours out of the cup. The liquid starts to flow out of the mouth opening after the cup is tilted beyond a start-to-pour angle. The start-to-pour angle is reached when the cup is tilted permitting the outside air to pass through the opening of the scoop-like-baffle and into the storage chamber.

Abstract: A trashcan includes a container having a base and a peripheral wall extending upwardly from the base forming an interior space for receipt of a trash bag therein; and a trash bag retention member disposed on the peripheral wall, the retention member defining a passageway into the interior space of the container and comprising a plurality of resilient, flexible fingers configured to receive and retain therebetween a portion of a trash bag. Each finger includes a portion thereof that extends away from the peripheral wall. Each finger is “bent” and extends away from the peripheral wall. A finger may extend away from the peripheral wall on the exterior of the container, away from the peripheral wall on the interior of the container, or both. A method of making the trashcan includes injection molding the container and the retention member separately or, alternatively, together.

Abstract: An exercise apparatus includes a platform for use in exercises in an unstable configuration. The platform includes a stepping deck for receiving a user; an arched base for rocking support of the stepping deck on a workout surface; and a resistance band assembly housed within the platform, with the resistance band assembly including a plurality of resistance bands. The exercise apparatus may include a frame that is adapted to removably receive and support the platform above a workout surface in a stable configuration for use in exercises. In another exercise apparatus, the platform is secured to the frame such that, in a first orientation, the platform is stable; and in a second, inverted orientation, the platform is unstable. The platform is plank-shaped, and the stepping deck includes two stepping surfaces, each surface being located on an opposite side of the stepping deck.
