Patent number: 9228272Abstract: A system for dip coating articles, in particular vehicle bodies, which articles can be moved to at least one dip tank and away from it with the aid of a transport system. For being lowered into and raised out of the tank, they are placed onto a rotating platform of at least one stationary rotating station and are dipped into the treatment liquid and removed from it by rotation of the rotating platform. Each article is fastened with the aid of a fastening device on a skid which interacts with the transport system. The fastening device is configured such that the article fastened to the fastening device is at a smaller spacing from the rotating platform in the removed position than in the second, dipped position.Type: GrantFiled: February 7, 2012Date of Patent: January 5, 2016Assignee: EISENMANN AGInventor: Joerg Robbin

Patent number: 9194580Abstract: The invention describes a burner for a thermal post-combustion device, which has a burner jet arranged in a housing. Arranged on the end region of the housing is a swirl apparatus, through which the exhaust gas to be purified can be made to flow. The burner jet comprises an outer tube and an inner tube, wherein it is possible for combustion gas to be made to flow through the interspace between said two tubes as far as an annular outlet gap in the end region thereof. The flow path for the combustion gas has a bottleneck in the vicinity of the outlet gap. In this way, a compact flame can be achieved, the form of which can be designated “bell-shaped” and which, for a given volume, has a relatively small surface. Although, such a flame has poor CO2 values, the swirl apparatus ensures that the exhaust gas burns in the flame with very low NOx and CO values.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 2010Date of Patent: November 24, 2015Assignee: EISENMANN AGInventors: Christof Gminder, Apostolos Katefidis

Patent number: 8850715Abstract: What is described is a process and an installation for drying articles, in particular painted vehicle bodies, in which the articles are moved through a drying zone in which they are hardened in an inert-gas atmosphere. Inert gas is taken from the drying zone constantly or intermittently and is first of all conducted along a first face which is at a first temperature at which higher-boiling contaminants condense out. The condensate that forms in the process is discharged. After that, the inert gas which has been pre-cleaned in this way is conducted along at least one second face which is at a lower temperature than the first face. Lower-boiling contaminants are precipitated at this point. These condensates, too, are then discharged. This process and installation work more favorably, energy-wise, and with higher cleaning efficiency than known processes and installations of a similar type.Type: GrantFiled: September 4, 2007Date of Patent: October 7, 2014Assignee: Eisenmann AGInventors: Werner Swoboda, Andreas Keller
