Abstract: The device comprises a strip element or band which can be wrapped around a package, the strip element having an integral label for receiving messages. The label may include an integral flap which can be folded over a message - bearing part of the label.
Abstract: The package comprises two trough-shaped containers, one of which receives a filling of a food product and the other of which receives auxiliary garnishing products intended to be applied to the food product at the moment of consumption. The containers are interconnected at their free edges with the interpositioning of a laminar sealing element.
Abstract: The shell halves are separated from the web portion of the wafer sheet by means of a sawing operation, effected parallel to the plane of the sheet. When two halves cut out in such way are assembled to form a shell enclosing a filling, the sawn areas mate each other so that they are hidden from sight. This invention has application to the manufacture of candy of the type having a shell and a filling.
Abstract: A modular display stand is constructed from a plurality of vertically-connectable, tubular sections extending upwardly from a carriage which supports the lower-most tubular section. The connected sections are topped with a placard holder connectable to the upper-most section. Each tubular section has shelves cantilevered on either sides thereof via support rods, and each shelf has spring-biased movable side walls to accommodate materials of different dimensions.
Abstract: Confectionery product comprising a shell formed by two wafer shell halves jointly enclosing a filling. The filling has a water content not tolerable by the shell of wafer and is contained in a water-impermeable capsule of edible material, lining or bonded to the internal surface of the shell.
Abstract: The body (1) of the container is provided with a frangible internal diaphragm (4) which sub-divides it into two superimposed chambers (1b, 1c), one containing a beverage and the other containing an additive substance. Above the diaphragm (4), in the body (1) of the container, is mounted a cutting tool (5) having at least one cutting edge (7a) facing the diaphragm (4), which is engageable by a drinking straw (11) in the first stage of the introduction of the straw (11) into the container, and can pierce the diaphragm (4) due to its being driven by the straw (11). The substance in the upper chamber (1b) falls under gravity through the pierced diaphragm (4) into the lower chamber (1c), in which it mixes with the other substance under the action of the cutting tool (5) which rotates due to the axial sliding of a threaded portion (13) of the straw (11) in a nut carried by the body (1) of the container in the zone of introduction of the straw (11).
Abstract: A pocket-size cake comprising a preferably parallelepipedic portion of bread component completely enrobed with chocolate and impregnated with a spirituous sugar-containing liqueur in a proportion of at least 1 wt. part liqueur to 1 wt. part bread component, the liqueur providing at least 35 ml ethyl alcohol and at least 25 grams sugar in each 100 grams bread component. The chocolate contains at least 30 wt. % edible fat and the bread component has a prevailingly cellular structure composed of substantially closed cells. The portion of bread component preferably consists of two layers bonded together by a layer of cream. A commercial method of making the cake is also disclosed.
Abstract: A pack for two different unwrapped confectionery products comprises two pots closed by a seal and each provided around its mouth with a flange which is stuck to the edge of a corresponding aperture in a support plate. An adhesive label is stuck over the plate and the seals of the two pots. The label has an appendage which can be torn off and to which there is adhered a flexible container for a small spoon. The pack enables the user to take up portions of the two products from their respective pots with ease while holding the pot in one hand.
