  • Patent number: 5904000
Abstract: A fishing rod reel seat comprises a cylindrical form of body having a central bore through which a blank rod is to be passed and provided with a reel seat surface by removing a portion of an outer periphery of said body, a fixed hood positioned so as to cover one end of said reel seat surface and including a reel leg receiving recess that is open toward the other end of said reel seat surface, and a substantially cylindrical form of movable hood fitted over the other end of said body such that it is axially movable thereover, with a second reel leg receiving recess located between said movable hood and said reel seat surface and being open toward said fixed hood. A portion of the outer periphery of said body in a circumferential direction is removed to define said reel seat surface, and at least said movable hood is provided in coaxial relation to said body, with a tapered outer surface thereof being of diameter diminishing toward said fixed hood.

  • Patent number: 5901492
Abstract: In a top guide having a bridge, if a length of the bridge is increased and the slant of the bridge is made gentle in order to enhance the entangled fishing line release effect, the weight is increased, and it is necessary to increase the thickness of a plate to compensate for the decreased bend-resistant mechanical strength. An annular frame 7 for retaining a guide ring 5, a support leg piece 9 and bridge pieces 25 are formed integrally with each other by a metal plate, a portion other than an inner circumferential portion of the frame 7 is drawn toward the rear portion to thereby form a cylindrical portion 19 surrounding the guide ring 5, the bridge pieces 25 extend gently obliquely rearwardly from an edge 21 of the cylindrical portion 19 facing rearwardly, rear ends of the bridge pieces 25 are continuous at a position separate rearwardly from a rod insertion pipe 17, and the bridge pieces 25 are bent so that their cross-sections perpendicular to a longitudinal direction form L-shapes.

  • Patent number: 5870848
Abstract: A frame for a line guide ring in which an operation of a fishing line is not prevented while a drawing work is performed to a holding frame is provided. The frame comprises a ring shaped holding frame for holding a guide ring through which a fishing line extends and a front side mounting leg integrally formed in a lower side of the holding frame. The holding frame is formed by a drawing in such a manner that an axial portion extending to an axial direction is formed and that the front side mounting leg extends from a rear end of the axial portion. The front side mounting leg is bent in such a manner that a front end thereof extends to the front side against the holding frame formed by a drawing. The front side mounting leg is bent such that a starting end for bending is set to a side closer to the axial portion than a root end.

  • Patent number: 5630453
Abstract: A debarking machine having a wood-infeeding side for feeding wood to the debarking machine and a wood-outfeeding side for outputting wood from the debarking machine, includes a line of first to n-th rotary members coupled in series, or a plurality of lines thereof coupled in series, from the wood-infeeding side to the wood-outfeeding side, each rotary member having a debarking blade on an outer surface. The first rotary member is inclined downwardly in a direction toward the wood-outfeeding side from the wood-infeeding side, and the second to n-th rotary members are arranged either horizontally or inclined downwardly in the direction toward the wood-outfeeding side from the wood-infeeding side. An inclined angle of the first rotary member located at an end of the wood-infeeding side is set greater than an inclined angle of the n-th rotary member located at an end of the wood-outfeeding side.
