Patent number: 9180583Abstract: A hydraulic pressing unit includes a hydraulic pump, supply and hydraulic chambers, moving and stationary parts, a restoring spring, and a return valve provided within or attached to a housing. The moving part is displaced from a starting position into a pressing position as a result of filling the hydraulic chamber with a hydraulic medium from the supply chamber by using the hydraulic pump. The return valve is automatically displaced into an open position as a result of a hydraulic pressure corresponding to the pressing position, and the restoring spring moves the moving part. A piston acts on the flow of the hydraulic medium and lowers the pressure such that the return valve is displaced into the closed position.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2011Date of Patent: November 10, 2015Assignee: GUSTAV KLAUKE GMBHInventor: Egbert Frenken

Publication number: 20150251256Abstract: A motorized manually operated pressing tool, in particular a crimping tool, with a fixed holding part, in which at least one pressing jaw is pivotably mounted about a pivot axis. The pressing jaw forms a working area and an impingement region extending in the longitudinal direction of the pressing jaw. In order to carry out a pressing operation the impingement region can be acted upon with an impinging part that is movable relative to the impingement region. The impinging part is movable in the longitudinal direction of the impingement region by exertion of manual force and by a motor.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 9, 2013Publication date: September 10, 2015Applicant: GUSTAV KLAUKE GMBHInventor: Egbert Frenken

Publication number: 20140251104Abstract: The invention relates to a jaw pair for punching out holes or recesses, preferably in sheet metal parts, the jaw pair being connectable to a device (23) to be operated preferably hydraulically and being designed, for example, as a pivoting jaw pair, wherein a punch (8) is formed on one jaw and a punching opening (6) is formed on the other jaw. To provide an advantageous jaw pair for punching out holes or recesses, preferably in sheet metal parts, it is proposed that a stripper part (10) which is situated outside of an outer contour of the punch (8) in the punching direction is formed in the jaw having the punch (8) and is movable in relation to the punch (8).Type: ApplicationFiled: July 27, 2012Publication date: September 11, 2014Applicant: GUSTAV KLAUKE GMBHInventor: Egbert Frenken

Patent number: 8777536Abstract: A cable lug and a method of use is provided. The cable lug has a receiving tube section for a cable, a flat piece-connecting section that is molded on and is provided with a bore, and a nut which is captively and preferably rotatably mounted on the flat piece-connecting section. The nut does not penetrate the flat piece-connecting section while being mounted by a shaped mounting material section of the flat piece-connecting section, which extends into an undercut in the nut. The mounting material section is in the undercut with an axial clearance. The mounting material section is rooted in a lowered in a step-type manner in the flat piece-connecting section. The lowered area is rotationally symmetrical and is provided with a conical section which opens outward and vertically and encompasses at least one conical area.Type: GrantFiled: March 2, 2009Date of Patent: July 15, 2014Assignee: Gustav Klauke GmbHInventor: Egbert Frenken
