    Abstract: An electrical enclosure having an improved sealing and shielding component and a method of manufacturing such an enclosure is provided. In accordance with an embodiment of the invention, a wire mesh is positioned against the surface of the enclosure. While the wire mesh is being positioned against the enclosure surface, a foam is formed on the enclosure surface adjacent the wire mesh. The foam generally adheres to the enclosure surface and holds the wire mesh in place. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, the foam has a height equal to or greater than the height of the wire mesh. The improved sealing and shielding components can, for example, improve the sealing and shielding of the electrical enclosure as compared to conventional electrical enclosures. The present electrical enclosure may, for example, also reduce the cost of manufacturing electrical enclosures.

    Abstract: In one aspect, a modular fan system includes a fan, a plenum member adapted to be mounted to the fan and adapted to be mounted to an enclosure, a gasket adapted to be mounted between the plenum member and the enclosure, a filter adapted to be mounted within the plenum member, and a grille adapted to be mounted to the plenum member. In the system, one or more of the fan, the plenum member, the gasket, the filter, and the grille are both assemblable into a first fan assembly and are alternatively assemblable into a second fan assembly. Another aspect also provides a stand-off collar adapted to be mounted to the enclosure, a first grille adapted to be mounted to the plenum member and adapted to be alternatively mounted to the stand-off collar, and an EMI/RFI shielding grille adapted to be mounted to the plenum member.

    Abstract: A compound hinge system includes a first link and a second link. The first link includes knuckles and arcing engaging surfaces next to stop portions that are configured for receiving engaging lug portions on a second link member. A second link member includes first and second sets of knuckles. One of the sets of knuckles cooperates with a hinged pin to pivot relative to the first link while the second set of knuckles receives a hinge pin to pivot relative to the second element. The lugs slide relative to the engaging surface and push against the stop portions to flex them outward and require additional force to move between various stops in the range of motion.

The door stop includes a first member mounting to the door and having a slot formed therein with a ramp portion located at one end of the slot. A link member pivotally mounts to a bracket on a door frame. A follower mounts to an end of the link and slides along the slot in the guide member. The follower slides up and over the ramp when slid along the slot in a first direction and engages an abrupt edge of the ramp when slid in the opposite direction.

Covers hingedly connect to a flange extending from one side of the wireway. Hinges are then formed with the cover member and act as a stop to hold the cover member at an open position. Channel members connect with a hook and slot arrangement which slide relative toward one another at an end connector portion. Hooks and slots provide self-alignment of connected channel members when slid into position.
