The tamper evident feature may include a locking tab connected to a wall panel or cover panel of the container and a receiving slot provided on the opposing cover panel or wall panel of the container. The locking tab may include an outer terminal edge and a slit extending laterally across the locking tab. The slit may provide a cut edge extending partially across an intermediate portion of the locking tab and allow for a tab end portion to bend relative to the remainder of the locking tab. The receiving slot may include a receiving slit defined into the cover panel of the container and configured to receive the locking tab. The receiving slit may provide a receiving edge that engages with the cut edge of the locking tab to secure the cover panel in a closed position.

The alignment structure is adapted for orienting the container with respect to a second container such that the panel sections of the containers become parallel with one another and the containers may be fully nested one within the other. The alignment structure can be recessed into the sidewall to form peaks and valleys along an inner surface of the container. Alternatively, the alignment structure can protrude from the sidewall to form peaks and valleys along an inner surface of the container. The peaks include first and second faces sloping in opposite directions designed to direct corners of the first container's sidewall toward the valleys of the second container in order to orient the containers as they are stacked.

The container further includes an outer sleeve wrapped around the inner receptacle with a lower end extending below the lower edge of the receptacle to form a deep bottom recess within a lower portion of the container. The lower end of the receptacle sidewall has a taper angle that is different from a taper angle of an upper portion of the sidewall. The lower end of the receptacle sidewall may engage or contact the inner surface of the outer sleeve. The outer sleeve may include reverse bend and/or a second bottom wall onto which a lower end of the receptacle may sit.

Each front end flap panel includes a connecting end section and a triangular fold flap connected to the connected end section. The triangular fold flap is connected to a side edge of the adjacent end panel by a hinged fold line. The connecting end section is secured to the front panel in an overlying arrangement and the triangular fold flap is configured to about the hinged fold line to allow the front panel to freely move between a fully upright position and a partially upright position.

    Abstract: A plastic container is provided having a sidewall, a downwardly extending upper lip, and a perforated line defined at a top edge of the container where the lip and sidewall are joined. The sidewall and lip may be formed from a container body constructed of a single sheet of material that is wrapped such that marginal edge portions of the blank are brought together in overlapping fashion to form a side seam. When the sidewall and lip are formed from such a blank of material, the perforated line is formed a specified distance below a top edge of such blank. The perforated line reduces the amount of force, heat and lubricant required in order to form (e.g., curl, roll, fold or bend) the upper lip of the container. The slits of the perforated line may extend across a width of the blank in either a uniform or variable fashion.
