  • Patent number: 8761793
Abstract: Provided is an information distribution system (100), in which a control section (4) deletes, when a member registration cancellation of a distribution service is instructed by an input unit (1d) of a vehicle-mounted device (10), the contents information and the uplink information stored in a storage unit (1f), other than the fundamental information, thereby to set ON a member registration cancellation flag. If the member registration cancellation flag is set ON when the communication with a center apparatus (30) is established, moreover, the control section (4) writes a code indicating the member registration cancellation, in the fundamental information of the uplink information, and transmits the same to the center apparatus (30). When this center apparatus (30) receives the uplink information from the vehicle-mounted device (10), the center apparatus (30) decides whether or not the code indicating the member registration cancellation is contained in the fundamental information.

  • Patent number: 8717126
Abstract: A stopper structure includes a wall defining an opening. A rotary electronic component has a rotational shaft extending through the opening. A channel stopper has a tubular body and an engagement projection. The tubular body is detachably mounted onto the rotational shaft and is inhibited from rotating relative thereto. The engagement projection extends from an end of the tubular body in an axial direction and a radial direction with respect to the rotational shaft. A rotary operation member is detachably mounted onto the rotational shaft and the tubular body and is inhibited from rotating relative thereto. The rotary operation member has an axial hole in which at least portions of the rotational shaft and the tubular body fit. A limiting portion provided on the wall is engageable with the engagement projection for limiting a range of rotation of the rotational shaft.

  • Patent number: 8706057
Abstract: When notification information about a company code is received from a center device, a control unit of an in-vehicle device refers to uplink information which is generated for each qualified delivery company and stored in a storage unit and cross-checks the company code included in the uplink information with the received company code (step S8). Only when those are identical, the uplink information corresponding to the company code to which it is judged that those are identical is read out from the storage unit and written in an uplink information storage area of the storage unit of a DSRC unit (step S9). Security on content information delivery is improved.

  • Patent number: 8670922
Abstract: When a user specifies a road that he/she wants to pass through, a guiding route generation device generates a guiding route that passes through the specified road up to a destination. A guiding route (37) generated based on waypoints specified is stored in a storage device (15) of the guiding route generation device. A display device (11) displays the guiding route (37) along with roads in the periphery. The guiding route generation device specifies a certain road as the specified pass-through road from among the roads displayed along with the guiding route (37), and further, finds and determines whether there are crossings and the number of the crossings between the specified pass-through road and the guiding route (37).

  • Patent number: 8570219
Abstract: A position detecting apparatus includes a GPS receiver configured to catch one or more of GPS satellites and track one or more of the satellites while receiving a GPS signal or GPS signals from one or more of the satellites. A power supply controllably feeds power to the GPS receiver. A suspension time decider decides a suspension time in accordance with at least one of (1) the number of satellites caught by the GPS receiver and (2) the level of at least one of the received GPS signals, and determines whether or not the lapse of time during which the GPS receiver continues to track no satellite reaches a prescribed time. A suspension controller controls the power supply to suspend the power feed to the GPS receiver during a term equal in length to the decided suspension time in cases where the lapse of time reaches the prescribed time.

  • Patent number: 8571792
Abstract: Provided is a navigation device which can automatically display on a map screen, an icon of a facility, information of which is not held in the navigation device. According to the navigation device (2), when it is judged that content information received from a roadside radio device (1) contains “object facility coordinate information” and “icon image information”, these information are written into a facility information table (252). When displaying a map screen and an existing facility icon on a display unit (22), it is judged whether the facility information table (252) contains facility icon information having coordinate information contained within a range indicated by the map screen. • Patent number: 8498355
Abstract: There are provided a transmission and reception device having a function for correcting a data error in a communication path. In the transmission device, a redundant bit addition unit adds a redundant bit to each data bit which has been divided by one bit by a division unit; and an interleaver performs interleave. The transmission device transmits a signal which has been subjected to FM modulation by an FM modulation unit. In the reception device, a symbol decision unit performs a symbol decision at a Nyquist point for a signal which has been FM-demodulated by an FM demodulation unit; a bit conversion unit performs bit conversion according to the result of symbol decision; and a frame recovery unit deletes the redundant bit added by the redundant bit addition unit of the transmission device, from the bit string de-interleaved by a de-interleaver. Thus, it is possible to surely perform an error correction with a simple configuration even when the communication state is not in a preferable environment.

  • Patent number: 8457102
Abstract: Both a pre-word (PW) and a sync word (SW) are used to establish a synchronization or only the sync word (SW) is used to establish a synchronization in accordance with an operational status related to the synchronization in a mobile wireless communication apparatus. For example, during an initial synchronization with a control channel (110) being received, both the pre-word (PW) and the sync word (SW) are used to establish a synchronization when a calculation result in a synchronization calculating part exceeds a predetermined threshold value only once. During an initial synchronization with a direct communication channel (112) being received, both the pre-word (PW) and the sync word (SW) are used to establish a synchronization when the calculation result exceeds the predetermined threshold value once; or alternatively, only the sync word (SW) is used to establish a synchronization when the calculation result successively exceeds the predetermined threshold value twice.

  • Publication number: 20130132513
Abstract: A roadside device (15) is provided with a corresponding table in the case where there is an item of a new version of a taste data table to take over from user taste information in an item of an old version of the taste data table. In the corresponding table, item numbers “52”, “53”, “62” and “63” in the old version of the taste table, for example, are made to correspond to item numbers “52”, “53” and “63” in the new version of the taste table. An ITS vehicle-mounted device (17) sets user taste data in the item numbers of the old version corresponding to the item numbers of the new version to default values of the items in the new version for a transmitting-destination user of the taste data table of the new version and transmits the default data to an ITS vehicle-mounted device (17) of the transmitting-destination user.

  • Patent number: 8411789
Abstract: A radio communication apparatus includes a clock reproducer unit which repetitively detects a symbol timing from a Nyquist point in detection-result data. A symbol generator unit controllably generates or non-generates a to-be-transmitted symbol or symbols at every symbol timing detected by the clock reproducer unit, converts the to-be-transmitted symbol or symbols into modulating data pieces, and outputs the modulating data pieces to a FIFO buffer. A D/A converter reads out modulating data pieces from the FIFO buffer at a predetermined rate and converts the read-out modulating data pieces into an analog modulating signal for use in modulation of a carrier. A controller unit controls a number of the to-be-transmitted symbol or symbols generated by the symbol generator unit at every symbol timing to hold a number of modulating data pieces in the FIFO buffer in a predetermined range.

  • Patent number: 8396219
Abstract: A multiplication value decision unit (12) decides a multiplication value which is a positive value or a negative value corresponding to a bit value of each bit contained in a binary bit string constituting a scramble pattern generated in a pattern generation unit (11). A multiplication processing unit (13) multiplies symbol data representing each symbol value in the symbol data string formed by the multinary symbol containing a predetermined pair of a positive value and a negative value having an identical absolute value, in the value area, by the multiplication value decided by the multiplication value decision unit (12). Here, the multiplication processing unit (13) successively executes the multiplication between the symbol data for one symbol and the multiplication value decided corresponding to the bit value of the one bit contained in the scramble pattern until the number of symbols expressed by the symbol data string is reached.
