    Abstract: A power supply device and an aerosol-generating system including the same are disclosed. The power supply device includes a housing having formed therein an accommodation space, a power supply battery, a power input terminal for receiving power from the outside, a power output terminal for outputting power to an aerosol-generating device accommodated in the accommodation space, a power circuit for transmitting power to the power supply battery or the power output terminal, and a controller for controlling the operation of the power circuit. The controller determines the remaining capacity of a device battery of the aerosol-generating device. When the remaining capacity is less than a predetermined reference capacity, the controller controls the power circuit to transmit power to the power output terminal. When the remaining capacity is equal to or greater than the reference capacity, the controller controls the power circuit to transmit power to the power supply battery.
