Abstract: Stereomicroscope having a main objective (2) and a zoom system (7) provided downstream of the main objective (2), wherein between the objective (2) and the zoom system (7) is provided a first deflector (30) for deflecting viewing beam pencils emanating from the objective (2) into the zoom system, the zoom system (8) comprising substantially horizontally extending magnification and viewing channels (7a to 7d), wherein the first deflector (30) is of semitransparent construction, while a first illuminating device (50; 60, 65) is provided for illuminating an object that is to be viewed through the first deflector 30 and the main objective 2.
Abstract: A microscope comprising a main objective including a lens assembly movable in the direction of the optical axis of the main objective for focal length variation and comprising an illuminating unit with an illumination deflector element for generating an illuminating beam path directed onto an object plane and extending outside the main objective. The position of the illumination deflector element is adjustable dependent on a focal length variation of the main objective for centering the illumination. The illumination deflector element is movable in a direction parallel to the optical axis of the main objective and is coupled to the movable lens assembly of the main objective.
Abstract: A microscope having a mechanically adjustable zoom system (7) and/or a mechanically adjustable focus system is described, which microscope is equipped at least one manually movable adjusting element (2) for adjusting the zoom system (7) and/or the focus system. The adjusting element (2) has associated with it a sensor (1) for ascertaining and/or indicating the position of the adjusting element (2).
Abstract: A stereomicroscope (20) has first and second main beam paths (21, 22) whose spacing defines a stereo base (23), a microscope axis (24) proceeding through the center of the stereo base (23) parallel to the main beam paths; and an optical beam splitter device (30) for generating an assistant's beam path (31) and a documentation beam path (32), the assistant's beam path being outcoupled from the first main beam path in a first position of the beam splitter device, and from the second main beam path in a second position, and the documentation beam path being outcoupled from the other main beam path; and the direction of the assistant's beam path in the first position being rotated 180° relative to the assistant's beam path in the second position; and the outcoupled documentation beam path extending, in both positions of the beam splitter device, perpendicular to the outcoupled assistant's beam path.
Abstract: A device for mounting a drive shaft driven by a drive motor is described, in which device a carriage is driven via the drive shaft. The drive motor is embodied as a stepper motor (1), and the drive shaft (6) is joined to the carriage (8; 9) via an elastomeric damper (3).
Abstract: An apparatus for retaining a component that transfers solid-borne sound includes a solid-borne sound damper having at least one spacer made of brake lining material arranged in association with the component.
Abstract: A stereomicroscope of the Greenough type includes a first monocular microscope and a second monocular microscope, which define a first beam path and a second beam path, respectively, wherein the first and second microscopes are arranged at a convergence angle to one another and comprise magnification systems for producing equal magnifications which can be varied synchronously with one another. At least one optical element in the first microscope has a different optically effective diameter compared to at least one corresponding optical element in the second microscope.
Abstract: A stereomicroscope of the telescope type includes a first beam path and a second beam path, wherein in the first beam path a first telescope system and in the second beam path a second telescope system are provided, wherein the magnifications of both telescope systems are equal and can be changed synchronously to each other, and wherein a common main objective is allocated to both beam paths. In order to increase the resolution without loss in depth of field, it is proposed that at least one optical element of the first telescope system has, compared to at least one corresponding optical element of the second telescope system, a different optically effective diameter.

Abstract: The invention relates to a microscope (10) having an illumination apparatus (26) having a light source (1) and an optical system. The light source (1) is embodied to output a coherent light beam bundle along a defined illumination beam path (2a), and the optical system in the illumination beam path (2a) encompasses a spatial light modulator (3) for modifying the illuminated field (4). A surgical microscope (10) is preferably equipped with an illumination apparatus (26) of this kind that is arranged adjustably in two directions on the surgical microscope (10).
