    Abstract: A vehicle data archive system is provided. An instrumentation interface receives at least one sensory data signal of the vehicle. A memory stores the at least one sensory data signal. A first transponder responds to a periodic provider signal of a trusted third party (TTP)/service provider for creating a corresponding shared encryption key, which is used to generate a digital signature from the stored data, the signature may be stored with the data or returned to the TTP/service provider. The signature is used to authenticate the data stored in the archive system. The encryption value used to generate the signature may be stored locally in the data archive or obtained from the TTP/service provider. The data in the data archive may also be stored without encryption. The system also allows an authorized user to delete a portion of the stored encrypted sensory data.

The speech processing system includes a speech recognizer residing on a first computing device and a speech model server residing on a second computing device. The speech recognizer receives speech training data and processes it into an intermediate representation of the speech training data. The intermediate representation is then communicated to the speech model server. The speech model server generates a speech reference model by using the intermediate representation of the speech training data and then communicates the speech reference model back to the first computing device for storage in a lexicon associated with the speech recognizer.

The case further includes an opening and a member for engaging with the flexible member to secure the disc holder; and means for preventing an easy touch of a human finger on the flexible member to protect the disc holder from being easily released. Once the disc holder is housed in the case, part of the disc holder blocks the opening of the case.

The second pull-up circuit drives output up to a second predetermined target voltage. By driving the output up to only the target voltage using the second pull-up circuit, the likelihood of oscillations about the target voltage can be reduced.

The BST is formed by deposition of a liquid precursor by a spin-on process. The original liquid precursor includes an alkoxycarboxylate dissolved in 2-methoxyethanol and an xylene exchange is preformed just prior to spinning. The precursor is dried in air at a temperature of about 400° C. and then furnace annealed in oxygen at a temperature of between 675° C. and 850° C.

By doing so, a memory with the same size as one bank is only needed as the temporary storage used when performing an upgrade. The terminal device only needs a memory that is “1+1/n” times as large as a total software when there are n banks, while a conventional terminal device needs a memory that is twice as large as the total software. Two loader programs are stored in different banks as a master loader program used for download processing and a backup loader program. On receiving a new loader program, one loader program is used to write the new loader program over the other loader program so as to upgrade the loader program. The backup loader program is activated when the new loader program is to be written over the master loader program.
