The session correlator is coupled to the voice browser and is configured to transmit an authentication message to the computer if the user-spoken transaction identifier matches the computer transaction identifier, and if the user-spoken verification identifier matches the voice print.

Cables may then be routed to individual cable trays, which route the cables to a second location. In this manner, the cables in each cable tray are segregated from cables in other cable trays, thereby reducing the twisting of the cables.

    Abstract: A device tracking location adherence and route adherence technology, is disclosed that at least provides a tracked device receiving, a set of coordinates associated with a boundary area, and obtaining a position of the tracked device. Based upon the received coordinates and the detected position of the tracked device, a determination is made as to whether the tracked device is located inside the boundary area or outside the boundary area. An alert signal is then generated and transmitted if the result of the determining is different from an immediately previous obtained result. The system allows, for example, drastic reduction in the amount of data traffic required within a system since the tracked device performs much of the necessary processing. This is especially advantageous where a fleet of tracked devices are employed within a network.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for detecting dropped packets in a network that includes a packet switched network. The method includes establishing a telephonic connection between a first network location and a second network location. A set of N waveforms are transmitted from the first network location. Each transmitted waveform includes a waveform characteristic operative to assign a predetermined value relative to other waveforms in the at least one set, such that a predetermined sequence of values are assigned to packets carrying the N transmitted waveforms. A telephonic signal is received at the second network location via the communications channel. The telephonic signal is processed to obtain a received sequence of values. The received sequence of values is compared to the predetermined sequence of transmitted values to detect dropped packets without having access to packet switched network control data.

The alpha-numeric pagers may be programmed with an identification code which indicates to the paging service provider that advertisements are acceptable. Accordingly, if an alpha-numeric pager is programmed to accept advertisements, the paging service provider transmits the advertisements with the page.

The VRU performs digit collection to obtain information to authenticate the call originator and to authorize the voice call. Based upon the issued messages from the call originator, the VRU establishes a second call-leg with the call terminator. The VRU is released from the voice call after binding the call-legs to connect the call originator to the call terminator.
