More particularly, the present invention relates to a multi-player gaming system comprising a ball game device having a launching mechanism for launching a ball into a gaming area to start a game, the gaming system further comprising a start control means for controlling start of the launching mechanism and a plurality of gaming terminals for a plurality of players, said gaming terminals including an input device for inputting a prediction and/or a bet for the outcome of a game.

Abstract: A system and method for controlling an electronic gaming machine (“EGM”) from a mobile device during a remote access play session. The EGM is switched between a local access mode in which the inputs on the EGM are active and a remote access mode in which the inputs on the EGM are de-activated and a player interfaces the EGM using a mobile device such as a smartphone or a tablet computer. During remote access play sessions, all critical game play operations continue to be performed exclusively on the EGM and not on the mobile device. Critical game play operations include random number generation and determination of game outcome. Game content, including video, screenshot images and audio of the game are transmitted to the mobile device for display to the player. Player input and selections are made on the mobile device.

Abstract: A cash machine having a device housing with a first door for accessing valuables and a printer housing affixed within the device housing. The printer housing isolates the printer from the device housing. The printer housing has a second door. A printer and a paper roll mount on the second door either directly or with a holding fixture. The second door moves from a closed configuration where the door is closed to an open configuration where the door is open to enable access to the printer and the paper roll. When the second door is in the open configuration at least a portion of the printer and the printer roll extend out from the device housing to facilitate maintenance.

Abstract: A networked gaming system and method with a central true random number generator (“TRNG”) for generating random numbers (“RNs”). The RNs are supplied to electronic gaming machines (“EGMs”) on a network and are used to determine game outcomes. The system and method are configured to gather requests for RNs from EGMs in batches that are coordinated by a RNG server where the RNG server receives RN requests from EGMs and routes the requests in batches to the central TRNG. The central TRNG responds to the RNG server with a batch of RNs that are then distributed to the EGMs within an acceptable response time.

Abstract: A gaming machine has a standard game play mode, and a bonus feature game play mode. The bonus feature mode includes a win chain counter having an integer value. During standard game play mode, the user interface randomly displays a matrix of symbols and the computer calculates the wins based on the matrix of symbols. On appearance of a predetermined number of scatter symbols, bonus feature play commences and a the win chain counter is initialized. During bonus feature play, a winning spin initializes a first win chain, and a first non-winning spin decrements the win chain counter value, after a first win chain is initialized, and prior to a non-winning spin, winning spins are added to the first win chain. Subsequent win chains are generated and terminated by a non-winning spin until the win chain counter is decremented to zero. Then bonus feature game play terminates.

The second layer displays the matrix of symbols including any scatter symbol included in the matrix of symbols. The second layer enables a gaming machine player to simultaneously view the background, or at least portions of the background. According to one aspect of the invention, the second layer is at least partially transmissive to permit simultaneous viewing of the background and the matrix of symbols. The background is changeable to highlight at least one of the symbols of the matrix of symbols. Preferably, the background highlights the scatter symbol by adding depth, color, light and imagery, such as a still, changing, or moving image.
