At least a portion of the side surface of the first lens portion is coated with a light-blocking ink.

Abstract: A lens assembly for covering at least a portion of an electronic device having a camera and a microphone. The lens assembly includes a first optically transparent portion configured to cover the camera of the electronic device. The first optically transparent portion extends from a first front optically transparent region having an area bounded by a light-blocking material covering a portion of a front surface of the lens assembly to a first rear optically transparent region having an area bounded by a light-blocking material covering a portion of a rear surface of the lens assembly. The area of the first rear optically transparent region is larger than the area of the first front optically transparent region. The lens assembly further includes an acoustically transparent portion configured to cover the microphone of the electronic device. The acoustically transparent portion includes a water-resistant membrane.

When the electrical connector is not electrically coupled to the electrical interface of the installed portable electronic device, the received electrical power is stored in the rechargeable battery as stored electrical power.

The check valve moves between a first position to allow audio pressure to exit the audio port and a second position to fluidly seal the audio port. The bellows at least partially surround the audio port when the cover is attached to the electronic device and move the check valve from the first position to the second position in response to a pressure exerted on the bellows. The air vent is attached to the bellows and allows audio pressure to pass through the air vent and to restrict passage of at least some water through the air vent.
