    Abstract: A heat extraction system for an enclosure comprises heat pipes having an evaporating reference temperature and a condensing reference temperature lower than the evaporating reference temperature, an evaporator portion and a condenser portion. The heat extraction system includes a support frame adapted for connection to the enclosure. The support frame is arranged with respect to the heat pipes such that, when the support frame is connected to the enclosure, the evaporator portion is thermally coupled to the at least one computer and the condenser portion is thermally coupled to a surrounding environment of the enclosure. The heat pipes are arranged with respect to the enclosure so as to transfer thermal energy from the enclosure to the surrounding environment when an interior temperature of the enclosure is greater than the evaporating reference temperature and an exterior temperature of the surrounding environment is less than the condensing reference temperature.

    Abstract: A rack adapted for receiving one or more components is disclosed. The rack includes a backplane, a pair of side panels extending from the backplane and internal support members on each side to receive and mechanically guide an initial alignment of components upon their initial insertion in the rack. A pair of male connectors mounted to the backplane is configured to mate with a corresponding pair of female connectors of each component to mechanically guide a final alignment of each component when the component is further inserted in the rack. Mechanical guidance may also be provided by, or supplemented with, a connection capable of providing liquid cooling to the rack. A system including the rack and the component inserted in the rack is also disclosed.

Each keyword of the list of keywords is independently submitted to a search engine. A result page is received for each keyword. A plurality of information elements is extracted from each result page. A score is calculated for each keyword based on the plurality of information elements extracted from each result page. At least one most attractive keyword is selected from the list of keywords, the selection being based on at least one best score among the scores for the keywords of the list. The at least one most attractive keyword is output on the operator interface as a recommendation for updating the web page to include the at least one most attractive keyword. A server implementing the method is also disclosed.

A keyword dataset having an entry for each secondary keyword associated with its corresponding number of past search requests is stored. A list of themes is output as a recommendation for populating the web site by creating a web page corresponding to each theme.

    Abstract: A cooling arrangement for a server mountable in a server rack comprises a phase change device and a fluid cooling unit. The phase change device includes an evaporator mountable on a heat-generating unit of the server, a condenser disposed outside of the server, and conduits extending laterally from the server, between the evaporator and the condenser. The conduits carry a working fluid heated in the evaporator to the condenser. The working fluid is cooled in the condenser before returning to the evaporator. The fluid cooling unit is positioned along the server rack and receives a cooling fluid from an external cooling facility. A heat transfer module of the fluid cooling unit has an open channel for slidably receiving the condenser. The cooling fluid flows in a water jacket surrounding the open channel. Heat is transferred from the condenser to the cooling fluid flowing in the water jacket.

A controller emits a second fault signal when the sensed power level exceeds a configurable power threshold, receives a user command to rearm the circuit, and in response to receiving the user command, emits the rearm signal and ceases the emission of the second fault signal. A logic combiner generates the disabling signal when it receives one of the first and second fault signals.

In response to detecting a fault on the master server, the master server is marked as disabled and services held on the master server are switched to the slave server and to a secondary pool of resources. The master service may be restarted if down. Then, provided that the master server is up, one or more tests are performed on the master server. The master server is marked as enabled if the tests are successful. The services may be switched back to the master server when the server is enabled. Services may further be rolled back to the slave server in case of an additional fault occurrence. The technique may also be used for updating a configuration in a service infrastructure.

A system includes the microcontroller and a plurality of such circuits for powering plural loads.

    Abstract: A circuit includes a voltage source, a transistor, a load current sensor, a hardware latch and a logic circuit. The transistor is connected between the voltage source and a load. The sensor emits a fault signal when the load current exceeds a predetermined value. The hardware latch sets a latch signal when it receives the fault signal and maintains the latch signal until it receives a rearm signal. The logic circuit receives the latch signal from the hardware latch and also receives a software command for controlling turning on and off of the circuit. When the latch signal is not set, the logic circuit converts the software command to a control voltage applied at a gate of the transistor, turning on the transistor to allow power delivery to the load. A system includes a microcontroller providing software commands and rearm signals to a plurality of circuits.
