Abstract: A tie box suitable for receiving one or more ties includes a base structure having a floor and upstanding peripheral walls that extend outwardly therefrom to define an interior compartment and a cover that is constructed to mate with the base structure. The tie box includes at least one elastic tie retaining member that is disposed within the interior compartment for receiving and holding the tie between the elastic tie retaining member and the floor. A ribbon member is disposed within the interior compartment for tying around the tie.
Abstract: A display unit for combining a first and second fabric fashion accessory such as a necktie includes a substrate having first and second panels arranged along an axis, a fold at the union of the first and second panels, a first hole disposed proximate to or at the fold in the substrate, and a securement that holds the first and second panels to one another to preserve the fold, a hanger seated in the first hole comprising a hook and a downwardly depending neck, and a flap attached to the first panel, the flap capable of extending around the entire display unit to be secured to the back of the first panel. A method for combining fabric fashions is provided as well.
Abstract: An article for holding and displaying a neck tie that includes a narrow end and an opposite broad pointed end includes a base portion and an insert. The base portion has a compartment for receiving and holding the folded neck tie and is open along a top thereof. The insert has a pair of upstanding leg portions and a top wall that extends between the upstanding leg portions. The top wall has a pointed slit formed therein that defines a depressable tab portion. The insert is inserted into the base portion such that the folded neck tie is disposed between the upstanding leg portions and a space is formed between a first end of the insert and one end wall of the base portion through which the neck tie extends. The neck tie is folded across the top wall and through the slit such that the broad pointed end of the tie is disposed with the compartment of the base portion underneath the insert.
