  • Patent number: 11261640
Abstract: Sliding operator assemblies and associated fenestration units, systems, and methods of use and assembly are described. Some such sliding operator assemblies transition a first, linear actuation force along a first axis (e.g., vertical) to a second actuation force along a second axis (e.g., horizontal) to cause a drive mechanism to impart opening and closing forces, respectively, on the sash. Some designs relate to belt-, twisted ribbon-, or band-drive sliding operator assemblies.

  • Patent number: 10900274
Abstract: An insulated glass assembly includes a first pane of translucent, obscure, or transparent sheet material, a second pane of translucent, obscure, or transparent sheet material spaced apart from the first pane, a perimeter spacer positioned between the first and second panes and extending around the perimeter of the panes, and an internal divider disposed between the first and second spaced apart panes. The internal divider is spaced from the first pane and second panes of sheet material to form a first gap and a second gap therebetween. The insulated glass assembly further includes a first spring element and a second element within the gaps between the internal divider and the first and second spaced apart panes. The first spring element and the second element combine to bias the internal divider against contact with either of the first and second spaced apart panes.

  • Patent number: 10612295
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a multi-panel door system includes a fixed panel and an active panel. Both panels are secured to the astragal of the door frame by securement members driven into and through hinges connected to the active panel, through the astragal, and into the fixed panel. The securement members are driven through a middle portion of the astragal stem in order to align the fixed and active panels in a recessed position with respect to the door frame. The fixed panel and the active panel are coplanar. Hinge support plates are placed between the hinges and the astragal and communicate forces transmitted through the securement members into deeper portions of the astragal.
