    Abstract: Disclosed are a phase shift method and a device performing same, the method comprising the steps of: shifting a phase of an input signal by a phase shifter, and up-converting, by a frequency quadrupler, a frequency of the input signal of which the phase has been shifted, by a multiplication coefficient (N). According to the phase shift method and the device performing same, it is possible to overcome a phase resolution decrease that occurs when passing through a frequency quadrupler in super high-frequency LO beamforming technology synchronized with a conventional frequency quadrupler.
