  • Patent number: 11941878
Abstract: A fully-automated computer-implemented system and method for generating a road network map from a remote sensing (RS) image in which the classification accuracy is satisfactory combines moving vehicle detection with spectral classification to overcome the limitations of each. Moving vehicle detections from an RS image are used as seeds to extract and characterize image-specific spectral roadway signatures from the same RS image. The RS image is then searched and the signatures matched against the scene to grow a road network map. The entire process can be performed using the radiance measurements of the scene without having to perform the complicated geometric and atmospheric conversions, thus improving computational efficiency, the accuracy of moving vehicle detection (location, speed, heading) and ultimately classification accuracy.

  • Patent number: 11933530
Abstract: A HVACR protection system can include a pressure sensor to sense pressure within a refrigerant line coupled to a compressor; a timer; and a protection system controller. A compressor controller in communication with the protection system controller can control operation of the compressor and disable the compressor until successful completion of a vacuum test of the refrigerant line. The vacuum test can initiate upon the pressure sensor sensing the pressure being less than or equal to a vacuum test pressure, at which point the timer begins timing for a vacuum test time period. The vacuum test is successfully completed upon expiration of the vacuum test time period with the pressure remaining less than or equal to the vacuum test pressure for the vacuum test time period. The protection system controller can enable the compressor controller to operate the compressor upon successful completion of the vacuum test.

  • Patent number: 11936991
Abstract: An EO/IR optical imaging system comprises collection optics to collect light from a scene into a collimated or near-collimated space. An imaging detector is positioned at the image plane and configured to integrate incident light (radiant flux or photons) over an image frame and readout a sequence of pixelated images at a frame rate, said detector exhibiting a saturation threshold. To prevent saturation of the imaging detector, a MEMS MMA is positioned in the collimated or near-collimated space. A secondary detector (via a pick-off) samples light from the collimated or near-collimated space multiple times per image frame. A controller responsive to the sampled light commands a percentage of the mirrors to re-direct light incident on those mirrors to a light dump and commands the remaining mirrors to re-direct light incident on those mirrors to the imaging detector.
