Abstract: A volatile material dispenser includes a housing that defines a longitudinal axis and is configured to receive a refill containing a volatile material and a wick. The volatile material dispenser also includes a cylinder that includes an inner wall that defines an opening and an interior edge, a resistor embedded in the cylinder, and a heater chassis that includes an inner wall that defines a passage between an upper end and a lower end. The upper end of the heater chassis abuts the interior edge of the cylinder. In addition, the inner wall of the cylinder extends away from the longitudinal axis at a first angle and the inner wall of the heater chassis extends away from the longitudinal axis at a second angle.

Abstract: A storage bag has first and second side surfaces, and a sealable and an unsealable opening. A bottom end of the bag is movable between a flat configuration with the first and second side surfaces positioned adjacent to each other, and an expanded configuration with the first and second side surfaces being spaced from each other. Shape retaining strips are provided adjacent to the opening that can maintain the shape of the opening. The shape retaining strips are capable of maintaining the opening of the bag such that a distance between the first and second side surfaces at the top end of the bag is about equal to the distance between the first and second side surfaces at the bottom end of the bag.

Abstract: A system for consistently emitting a volatile material, the system including a dispenser having at least one aperture, a substrate adapted to fit within the dispenser, and a volatile material. The substrate includes a first woven layer having a first pore size, a second woven layer having a second pore size, and a third, non-woven layer that extends between the first woven layer and the second woven layer. Further, the system has a steady state weight loss of the volatile material over a time greater than 30 days.

Abstract: An aqueous cleaning composition, which may be suitable for use in cleaning hard surfaces, is described. The aqueous cleaning composition includes an ionic liquid solvent, an amino alcohol, and a substantial amount of water. The cleaning compositions may also include a disinfecting quaternary surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, such as an ethoxylated alcohol and/or alkyl polyglycoside, and/or a chelating agent, such as an aminopolycarboxylate chelating agent.

Abstract: A composition for repelling insects is disclosed. The composition may include an active component made of (i) a combination of clove oil, geranium oil, and peppermint oil, (ii) a fixative, and (iii) a solubilizer. The composition may include (i) from about 2.5 to about 15 wt. % of an active component made only of (a) from about 0.1 to about 5.0 wt. % of clove oil, (b) from about 0.5 to about 15.0 wt. % of geranium oil, and (c) from about 0.1 to about 15.0 wt. % of peppermint oil, (ii) from about 3 to about 15 wt. % of a fixative, and (iii) from about 15 to about 45 wt. % of a solubilizer.
Abstract: A process for making a container includes the step of providing at least one of a slider, sticker, textured surface, pattern, or embossed surface along a folded web of thermoplastic material that comprises a plurality of container templates. The process also includes the step of picking up, with a turner, each container template. The turner includes one or more rotator assemblies that include a rotatable shaft and a bag-contacting surface connected to an end of the rotatable shaft. The bag-contacting surface is configured to engage a top exterior side of each container template. Additionally, the process includes the step of reorienting, with the turner, each container template. The rotatable shaft is configured to horizontally translate and rotate each container template.
Abstract: Hard surface, in particular glass, cleaners having an ease in wipe-out while providing good cleaning with a streak-free, glossy shine are described. The cleaner includes at least one fluorosurfactant including a fluorinated functional group with 2 to 6 carbon atoms, and a hydrophilic moiety; at least one non-fluorinated surfactant; a combination of solvents; a combination of cleaning agents; and water.
Abstract: A container system includes a container having a plurality of sidewalls and a rim extending from the sidewalls at a top of the container. The rim of the container includes a first sealing part and a second sealing part. Parts of the rim extend along arcs as viewed from above the container. The container system also includes a lid for sealing the container, with the lid having a rim that includes a first sealing part that is configured to contact the first sealing part of the rim of the container to form a first sealing area, and a second sealing part that is configured to contact the second sealing part of the rim of the container to form a second sealing area. Parts of the rim of the lid extend along arcs as viewed from above the lid. The container may be tightly sealed by the lid.
