Abstract: A storage bag includes first and second side surfaces that form an interior of the bag with an opening to the interior. A first closure profile connected to the first side surface and positioned adjacent to the opening has a top edge and includes an interlocking member that extends between first and second sides of the first closure profile forms a lip between the interlocking member and the top edge. A second closure profile connected to the second side surface and positioned adjacent to the opening of the bag has a top edge and includes an interlocking member. A first portion of the lip of the second closure profile smoothly transitions into a third portion of the lip of the second closure profile, and the third portion of the lip of the second closure profile smoothly transitions into a second portion of the lip of the second closure profile.

Abstract: A storage bag has first and second closure profiles adjacent to an opening of the bag. The first and second closure profiles are each provided with a closure member that extends along the length of the respective closure profile, with the closure member of the first closure profile being configured to engage with the closure member of the second closure profile to form a seal for the opening of the bag. The first closure profile further includes (a) a plurality of gripping ridges that extends from the closure member to the top edge of the first closure profile, and (b) a texture that extends in an area between the closure member and the top edge of the first closure profile, with the texture extending continuously (i) in the area between the closure member and the top edge of the first closure profile, and (ii) between each gripping ridge of the plurality of gripping ridges.

Abstract: A zipper for a reclosable bag including an elongated groove profile having two arms which form a general U-shape to define an opening to a channel, and an elongated rib profile opposing the groove profile, wherein a plurality of first segments of the rib profile alternate with a plurality of second segments of the rib profile to create a structural discontinuity along a length thereof, wherein during interlocking the groove and rib profiles, an audible clicking sound of at least 50 dB on average is created during opening and closing.
Abstract: A slider for a closure assembly of a bag. The slider has a pair of finger pads extending from a top wall. Each pad has a surface with a curved portion running from a front end to a back end of the slider, a defined, first curved area extending from the curved portion to an end of the first curved area, and a defined, second curved area extending from the end of the first curved area to a midpoint of the curved portion. The first curved area and the second curved area are defined by different angles at which the respective curved area extends into the respective finger pad. Each finger pad includes a major axis dimension greater than a minor axis dimension to provide an area that fits an average finger size, and a lip region to guide a finger of a user into a finger pad.

Abstract: A composition for repelling insects is disclosed. The composition may include an active component made of (i) a combination of clove oil, geranium oil, and peppermint oil, (ii) a fixative, and (iii) a solubilizer. The composition may include (i) from about 2.5 to about 15 wt. % of an active component made only of (a) from about 0.1 to about 5.0 wt. % of clove oil, (b) from about 0.5 to about 15.0 wt. % of geranium oil, and (c) from about 0.1 to about 15.0 wt. % of peppermint oil, (ii) from about 3 to about 15 wt. % of a fixative, and (iii) from about 15 to about 45 wt. % of a solubilizer.
Abstract: A storage bag has a first closure profile attached to a first side surface, with the first closure profile forming a lip between an interlocking member and an edge of the first closure profile. The bag also includes a second closure profile attached to the second side surface, with the second closure profile forming a lip between an interlocking member and an edge of the second closure profile. The lips of the first and second closure profiles are visually distinct colors or different shades of a color in order to aid the user in locating the lips.
