  • Publication number: 20180050227
Abstract: A temperature control device for heating and/or cooling gases or gas mixtures, in particular for use in the respiratory protection sector. The temperature control device has a housing, a compressed air input, a supply output and a vortex tube with an air inlet, a hot air outlet and a cold air outlet. The vortex tube is installable in at least two final assembly arrangements. In a first arrangement, there is a fluid-conducting connection between the cold air outlet of the vortex tube and the supply output of the temperature control device and, in a second arrangement, there is a fluid-conducting connection between the hot air outlet of the vortex tube and the supply output of the temperature control device. By this configuration, the temperature control device is both a device for heating and cooling respiratory air from mainly the same components with little additional outlay on production and little additional effort during assembly.

  • Publication number: 20180054866
Abstract: A daylight portable lamp for inspecting painted surfaces, in particular during paint repair work on motor vehicles, has a setting device for setting the light intensity. The setting device has an operating element that can be adjusted between a minimum position and a maximum position, the light intensity being set to a minimum in the minimum position and the light intensity being set to a maximum in the maximum position. When the operating element is arranged in the vicinity of the minimum or maximum position returns automatically to the relevant minimum or maximum position on the basis of a spring restoring force. The operating element can be arranged infinitely variably in at least one transitional adjusting region between the minimum and maximum position without the operating element returning automatically to the minimum or maximum position, so that in the transitional adjusting region the light intensity can be set infinitely variably by the operating element.

  • Patent number: 9878336
Abstract: The invention relates to a fluid reservoir for a paint spray gun with a container (1) and a cover (2) that is attachable on this container and has a connection part (3) to enable attaching the fluid reservoir on the paint spray gun or on an adapter, wherein the container (1) has a ventilation opening (6) that can be closed by a valve (5). In a fluid reservoir known from the state of the art, the valve is constructed in the form of a sliding valve. Here, there is the risk that the ventilation opening is not completely closed if the slide of the sliding valve has not been pushed completely into the valve housing. In order to provide a fluid reservoir with a valve that can be easily actuated manually and that can be closed reliably, it is provided for the fluid reservoir according to the invention that the valve (5) has a closing element (8) that can pivot like a rocker about a pivot axis (7) for closing the ventilation opening (6) in a fluid-tight way.

  • Patent number: 9878340
Abstract: A color application system and method provide improved results of the color application and the operation of the color application system, for example color application errors due to varying pressure are reduced or eliminated, by using a color application system having one or more receivers for wireless data transfer between components of the color application system, wherein one of the components is a color sprayer having a detecting unit for detecting operating parameters of the color sprayer and/or environmental parameters, and a transmitter for wirelessly transferring the operating parameters and/or environmental parameters to the receiver. In a method for operating such a color application system, the operating parameters of spray air pressure and/or optionally the pressure of the medium to be sprayed is detected in or at the color sprayer, and then the detected pressure or pressures are wirelessly transferred to one or more components of the color application system.
