Abstract: An instant photocopying apparatus has a rod lens array for imaging fine areas of a manuscript on a photosensitive surface of an instant film. The apparatus has a carrier which is movable in a direction parallel to the manuscript. A flourescent lamp illuminates the manuscript. A filter holder is mounted to the lower end of the carrier, and an optical filter is provided for covering a light incidence portion of the rod lens array. The filter is removably mounted so as to enable changing the exposure and tint of the photosensitive surface of the instant film by mounting or dismounting the filter.
Abstract: In a power supply control circuit for a display of a camera, when an operation signal is input, a control circuit determines that an operation mode exists and activates a boosting circuit and a voltage dividing circuit. The control circuit activates a power supply switching circuit to switch the power supply for a display unit driving circuit to the output of the voltage dividing circuit. In response to the input operation signal, the control circuit executes such processes as photographing, film rewinding and/or film loading by the operation of the rear lid switch, etc. Upon completion of the operation, the control circuit sets the mode to a waiting mode, and monitors the detection output of a battery voltage detecting circuit.
Abstract: A power toothbrush has a superior brushing effect achieved by a brush member which is given a reciprocal motion in the axial direction while at the same time the brush member itself is given a rotary motion and which has a simple construction and is of low cost. A drive shaft is mounted in a casing in such a way that it is free to move in the axial direction. The rotation of a drive motor mounted inside the casing is converted into a reciprocating motion and transmitted to the drive shaft by a first transmission mechanism. A rotary brush member is rotatably mounted on the end of an attachment connected to the drive shaft, and the reciprocating motion, in the axial direction, of the attachment is converted into a rotary motion and transmitted to the rotary brush member by a second transmission mechanism.
Abstract: An apparatus for winding up film in a camera has a direct current brush motor and an arrangement for producing a pulse train of pulses in response to the production of brush noise by said motor as it rotates. A control circuit is responsive to the pulse train of pulses to control the advancing and rewinding of the film as well as to detect the winding ends and to detect the occurrence of film loading errors.
Abstract: An alarm clock has an ambient light detector for controlling the illumination of a time displaying section. An alarm time which is selected by a user is stored in a memory. An alarm set switch is used to switch between alarm-on and alarm-off conditions. A photosensor detects the ambient light surrounding the alarm clock. The illumination of the displaying section is controlled so that the displaying section is illuminated only when the current time is within a predetermined time zone before the alarm time set by the user, the alarm set switch is in the alarm-on condition and the detected ambient light is below a predetermined level. The illumination of the displaying section is also controlled so that the display is illuminated while an alarm sound is being generated.
Abstract: A camera distance measuring device in which center, left and right peripheral beams for illuminating a subject are emitted from the center, left and right infrared-emitting diodes, respectively. First and second intermediate electrodes are provided between a pair of electrodes of a position sensitive device. An arithmetic circuit calculates center, left and right distance data from a composite output of a plurality of amplifiers delivered synchronously with each of the center, left and right peripheral beams incident on the position sensitive device.
