  • Patent number: 11876533
Abstract: In a method for computer-assisted operation of a memory unit, encoded data is saved in the memory unit. The data is retrieved and decoded after retrieval. The memory unit is monitored for errors in that a temporal sequence of computer-assisted checking operations is carried out for the memory unit. For first-time encoding of the data, each required application data set is generated or selected, containing check data segments. For each application data set, the check data segment is occupied by count data, which characterizes the checking operation being implemented. After retrieving and decoding the application data sets, an error is determined when the count data characterizes neither the checking operation being implemented nor the most recent completely implemented checking operation. The check data segment of the relevant application data set is occupied by count data, which characterizes the checking operation being implemented, if no error was determined.

  • Patent number: 11865949
Abstract: An assembly secures a connector of an external power supply in a rail vehicle. The connector is enclosed by a housing and by a rotatably mounted flap. The flap and the housing each have a slot configured to receive a catch. The flap can have two positions: a first position, in which the flap covers the connector and thus prevents access to the connector, and a second position, in which access to the connector is possible. The flap supports a lock cylinder, which can be switched by a key into two states: in a first state, the key can be pulled out of the lock cylinder, and in a second state, the key is secured in the lock cylinder against removal. A catch is rotated into both slots or out of both slots by the lock cylinder.

  • Patent number: 11866075
Abstract: The position of a rail vehicle that is parked on a track is monitored in a cold movement detection. A vehicle-side device of an automatic train safety system is deactivated when the vehicle is parked. Prior to the deactivation, a first positional value is determined by the automatic train safety system, and independently, a second positional value is determined by another localization system. With the vehicle-side device deactivated, the actual position of the vehicle is monitored by the other localization system. The additional positional values and/or a deviation of the actual position from a target position is transmitted to a track-side device of the train safety system. When the vehicle-side device is activated, the track-side device transmits the actual position of the vehicle to the vehicle-side device. If the vehicle has not moved, the automatic train guidance system can immediately assume the monitoring process starting from the first position.

  • Patent number: 11845341
Abstract: A method for operating switching elements of an inverter of a vehicle that is driven by way of a three-phase synchronous machine. The inverter has a series circuit of switching elements for the phases. When the vehicle brakes, the synchronous machine is used to set a cycle rate for the operation of the switching elements depending on a frequency of AC phase currents of the synchronous machine. The electrical energy provided by the synchronous machine is fed to a DC voltage intermediate circuit. The cycle rate is set according to the frequency of the AC phase currents, such that it corresponds to the frequency of the respective AC phase currents of the synchronous machine. Zero points of the AC phase currents are determined, and the switching elements are operated to set a predefined phase difference between the respective AC phase current and a respectively associated AC phase voltage.

  • Patent number: 11845474
Abstract: An arrangement for a rail vehicle has an electric hollow-shaft motor with a hollow rotor and a wheelset shaft that runs through the hollow rotor. The rotor is separated from the wheelset shaft at least in certain sections by a radial air gap which ensures a mechanical clearance between the wheelset shaft and the rotor. • Patent number: 11845342
Abstract: A current collector for a non-track-bound, electrically driven vehicle for feeding electrical energy from a two-pole overhead line system with two contact wires. Two upper arms are rotatably connected to an adjustable lower arm by toggle joints. Each upper arm carries a contact rocker for contacting the contact wires. Coupling bars are rotatably connected to the upper arms and articulated so that adjustment of the lower arm forces adjustment of the upper arms. A compensating rocker compensates for a height difference between the contact rockers with a rocker stand and a rocker beam. The rocker stand can be rotatably connected to the vehicle and the rocker beam is connected to the coupling bars by way of compensating joints on either side of the rocker joint. At least one stop element limits a rotational movement of the rocker beam about a rocker joint axis of the rocker joint.

  • Patent number: 11834084
Abstract: In a method for mixed operation of a section of railroad line, the section of line is trafficable by trains equipped with a train control system, and by trains not equipped with this train control system. The section of line is provided with a switch so that in the event that a train not equipped with the train control system is to enter the section of line from the direction of a side track, the section of line is indicated as occupied. The occupied indication is triggered by a first throwing of the switch in the direction of the side track. After the train not equipped with the train control system has passed through, the occupied indication is canceled. The cancelation is triggered by a second throwing of the switch. After throwing of the switch, a clearing run is carried out on the section of line by an equipped train.
