    Abstract: A multistory parking space wherein at least one parking floor is located underground. An entry way and an exit way for vehicles of the multistory parking space are provided with an entrance lift and an exit lift, respectively. The parking floor is provided with at least one power carrier and a large number of parking pallets, and vehicles are transferred between the lifts and the carrier and between the carrier and the pallets by conveyors. Shutters are provided between the lifts and the entry and exit ways, and the lifts and the passenger ways to prevent accidental falling of a vehicle or a passenger.

    Abstract: A damping support structure for preventing vibrations of an apparatus table supporting an apparatus for manufacturing ultra-high precision devices such as semiconductors and printed circuit boards. The apparatus table is supported in suspension by support members, with its apparatus mounting surface disposed at a low level. The support members are supported by stationary members through vertically extendible and contractible first air springs. Horizontally extendible and contractible second air springs are disposed between the stationary members and the apparatus table. The first and second air springs serve to mitigate vertical and horizontal vibrations of the apparatus table, respectively.

    Abstract: A wave power generating system for generating electricity using natural wave power, includes wave energy converters for converting wave energy into air pressure, a constant air pressure tank for storing the air pressure from the wave energy converters to equalize the fluctuation of the air pressure, an air turbine stationarily driven by the equalized air pressure, and an electric generator for generating stable electricity using the rotating power of the air turbine. The wave energy converters are settled to the bottom of the sea and are sufficiently tall to function as wave dissipation facilities. The air pressure in the constant air pressure tank is automatically controlled toward a target value by a controller and the target value is calculated by the controller in accordance with measured values of wave amplitude and period and the current air pressure of the constant air pressure tank.

Moreover, a pattern element is erased, divided or copied by memorizing a graphic processing command in advance in a manner to correspond to a predetermined pattern or operator and by manually drawing this operator on the tablet with the electronic pen.The pattern data can be inputted to the computer to display the pattern by the same operations as those for drawing on a paper with writing apparatus so that the pattern can be drawn on the basis of the human engineering without feeling any physical disorder.

    Abstract: After a mortar layer is formed on the surface layer of placed concrete, an ultrasonic vibrator is caused to vibrate while being pressed against the mortar layer surface, and a thin surface layer is scraped off, obtaining a dense water-shielding layer. Mortar with a low water-cement ratio is spread onto the surface of the water-shielding layer, and adhesion between the mortar and the water-shielding layer is strengthened by using the ultrasonic vibrator. The pressing force of the ultrasonic vibrator is then increased to make the mortar and the water-shielding layer densely integrated together, thereby forming a hard concrete surface excelling in abrasion resistance.

The diagonal members are arranged to cross at an angle of about 45 degrees to bar members both of the upper and lower frame bodies. The space frame provides increased buckling strength because the bar members and the diagonal members may be entirely joined by welding.

The total flow area of the outlet apertures may be extended to a desired degree by increasing the axial length and diameter of the side wall of the housing, whereby the flow resistance and pressure drop across the damper are reduced.
