The method comprises: selecting an electronic file from an electronic menu; verifying whether a ‘select all’, ‘partial’, or ‘single’ selection option is selected; selecting every or a portion of the electronic files thereof from the electronic menu; and editing every selected electronic file thereof.

Abstract: The present invention relates to one method of zooming in a displayed image to be used in a portable electronic device. The method comprises: displaying an original image; determining whether or not to switch to a zooming in mode; selecting a zooming in ratio; in accordance with the zooming in ratio, processing the zoom in of the original image to produce a zoomed in image; and displaying the zoomed in image corresponding to the size of the display screen, and in accordance with one control signal to change the zoomed in image displayed by the display screen.

Abstract: A common lock used in a dual-usage portable computer formed of a base member and a display is disclosed to include an elongated operating frame bar longitudinally slidably mounted inside the display of the portable computer, a left-side frame and a right-side frame respectively fixedly mounted inside the display, a left-side hook coupled between the left end of the elongated operating frame bar and the left-side frame for locking the display to the base member when the computer is set in the form of a notebook computer, and a right-side hook coupled between the right end of the of the elongated operating frame bar and the left-side frame for locking the display to the base member when the computer is set in the form of a tablet PC.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of a continuous repeat segment playback of an electronic file that can be utilized on a portable electronic device. The method of a continuous repeat segment playback includes: recalling a setup interface; inputting a repeat segment starting time; inputting a repeat segment ending time; beginning a playback of an electronic file at the inputted starting time and stopping the playback of the electronic file at the inputted ending time; and recalling the setup interface and identifying whether the repeat segment of the electronic file shall be continuously played. If it fails to hold, then the playback of the MP3 file is discontinued; such identifying procedure ensures that while the portable electronic device is executing the repeat segment playback of an electronic file, the file can still be continuously played in case the user exits such mode.

Abstract: The invention discloses a control circuit and method thereof, which enable a display device to have low power consumption. The display device is able to switch between a normal mode and a standby mode, and reduce the power consumption of the display device under the standby mode. A synchro signal detection circuit, an infrared receiver, and a power switch are used to determine when to output a triggering signal. If an MCU inputs a triggering signal, a switch circuit will provide electricity for a peripheral circuit, then the display device switches to the normal mode; otherwise, the switch circuit will stop providing electricity for the peripheral circuit, and the display device switches to the standby mode.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method applied on displays for recognizing video signal timing of analog input. The present invention employs the horizontal-synchronized-signal interrupt value to distinguish among its inputted video signal timing, allowing to recognize its pixel and correctly display its corresponding video signal timing even when the inputted signal timings share the same horizontal frequency, vertical frequency, and polarity. In case when the display is displaying incorrect video signal timing, the present invention also allows inputting a switch signal to adjust its display mode accordingly, enabling the display to show the correct resolution of the video signal timing under normal operation.

Abstract: A method of color-real adjustment and system for adjusting a display device is disclosed, the system includes a server for outputting an image triggering signal and inputting an image extraction signal, performing a color-real process on the image extraction signal to obtain color data, transforming the color data into a color-real parameter and outputting the color-real parameter; an pattern generator for outputting an image pattern according to the image triggering signal; the display device for displaying an image corresponding according to the image pattern; an digital camera for detecting colors of the displayed image to output the image extraction signal; and a burner for storing the color-real parameter into a memory of the display device, wherein the color-real parameter matches a format of extended display identification data.

Abstract: The invention is related to a display with remote control, includes a display and a remote control. The user can wirelessly transfer a cursor-shifting signal to the display via remote control, process decoding via cursor-shifting circuit, and display the correspondent shifting movement of the cursor on the display. Therefore, the user of the present invention only needs one remote control to acquire the functions of controller and cursor operation simultaneously to reduce the inconvenience of requiring both devices at the same time.

Abstract: The present invention concerns to a press key structure with a light module in use of illuminant variation for arrow keys of an appliance. The press key structure with light module comprises a key base plate, a light source, a spread slice and a light guiding cap. The light guiding cap includes a crown part, a chamber, and a mouth part that is set on the key base plate and can exactly cover up the above light source. The spread slice is set in the chamber of the light guiding cap so that the light is evenly spread through the light guiding function of the spread slice. Moreover, by adjusting the thickness, transparency, and inside cambered surface of the spread slice, or the distance between the spread slice and the light source, the light guiding property thereof can be modulated.

Abstract: This present invention relates to a TFT display with low loss construction of power supply to be used in a monitor. The invention includes two independent transformer rectifier circuits, thus when the monitor is in its power-saving mode, it requires only one transformer rectifier circuit to provide the required voltage in the power-saving mode. When the user wishes to restore the monitor to its normal mode, the two transformer rectifier circuits will be turned on simultaneously to reduce the power consumed in the power-saving mode. Thus, the purpose of saving power can be attained.

Abstract: This invention discloses a direction key structure that prevents correlated action, the simultaneous activation of two directions. By using a center shaft for a fulcrum, and in cooperation with four direction ribs set under a direction key housing, the direction key housing can act as a joystick. Four rods for preventing correlated action are set under the key direction housing, and each rod is set between two neighboring direction ribs so that the correlated action is avoided.

Abstract: A display monitor for a common display data channel uses a DDC access switch to separate the common display data channel, so that regardless of whether the display monitor is powered on or off, a personal computer can access the Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) in the EEPROM, and the low-level voltage of an MCU in the display monitor won't interfere in the access between the personal computer and the EEPROM. When the power of the display monitor is turned on, the DDC access switch closes so that the MCU can access the EDID in the EEPROM.

Abstract: A common pivot arrangement mounted on a base member with first and second locating holes is disclosed to include a hinge unit having first through holes corresponding to the second locating holes of the base member and second through holes, and a rotary device, which has a mount with through holes corresponding to the first locating holes and a wheel with mounting holes corresponding to the second through holes. For use in a notebook computer, the first through holes of the hinge unit are respectively fastened to the second locating holes of the base member with screws. For use in a tablet PC and the notebook computer, the second through holes of the hinge unit are respectively fastened to the mounting holes of the wheel with screws, and then the through holes of the mount are respectively fastened to the first locating holes of the base member with screws.
