Abstract: The invention relates to a circularly polarized array antenna for receiving and transmitting a circularly polarized signal. The circularly polarized array antenna comprises: a plurality of circularly polarized antennas with phase shift mechanism for receiving circularly polarized signals and transmitting the circularly polarized signals; a plurality of power lines which differ from each other in length and are coupled to the circularly polarized antennas respectively; and a power divider coupled to the power lines for receiving the circularly polarized signals. Wherein each of the circularly polarized antennas comprises a plurality of antenna elements and each comprises a microstrip antenna and a slot coupling apparatus.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of editing indication for a portable device, comprising: selecting an electronic file; determining whether an editing of the electronic file is performed; enabling the editing indication in the display screen of the portable device; and disable the editing indication when the editing is completed, wherein the portable device can be an MP3 player, PDA, or multimedia player; the electronic file can be a digital picture, music file, multimedia file, digital text file, electronically compressed file, or catalogue file.

Abstract: A bus-line protector preventing the bus-lines within a computer casing from moving around and being damaged by metal components is disclosed. The bus-line protector has a base plate and at least one wing plate, wherein the base plate has at least one notch and at least one fold line. The wing plate is extended from the fold line of the base plate and comprises at least one insert extended from a periphery of the wing plate. After placing the bus-lines on the top surface of the base plate, the wing plate is inclined inwardly at the fold line and covers the base plate. Then, the insert comprising a T-shaped protrusion is securely engaged into the notch of the base plate. As a result, the bus-lines are fixed in location and are thus protected by the bus-line protector of the present invention.

Abstract: A portable computer support structure is constructed to include a base member, a support arm fastened pivotally with the base member, a back-stick plate pivoted to the base member and adapted to adjustably support the support arm above the base member in a standing position, a step-less pivoting device affixed to the top side of the support arm and holding a step-less shaft, and a support block fastened to the step-less shaft and adapted to support a portable computer for enabling the portable computer to be rotated with the step-less shaft relative to the support arm to adjust the view angle and to prevent the problem of reflection of light of the display screen.

Abstract: A security structure of portable hard disk drive is disclosed to include a bracket fixedly mounted in a computer case, a plurality of portable hard disk drives inserted into respective sliding grooves inside the bracket at different elevations, and a locking rod, for example, a long screw for insertiing through a through hole on the top panel of the bracket and a respective through hole on each portable hard disk drive and threading into a nut at the bottom panel of the bracket to affix the portable hard disk drives to the bracket. The locking rod is kept from sight after installation of the portable hard disk drives in the bracket and closing of the computer case.

Abstract: A recall circuit for quitting a power saving mode is disclosed, which is applicable to a television functioning as the display screen of a computer, which mainly uses a microprocessor to turn on the power of all chips in the television, monitors the communication via I2C pins, and detects which chips require operations without the use of a bi-channel analog mixer and segregator to shift the television from the power saving mode to a use mode.

The refrigerator with a body fat meter calculates a body fat rate according to an impedance of a human body when the user touches both of the body fat detecting buttons, displays the body fat rate on a screen, and keeps a historical record of the detected body fat rate. According to the historical record of the detected body fat rate, the user may be aware of the increase of the body fat rate.

Abstract: A swivel display inclining structure used in a dual-use portable computer is disclosed to include a touch panel pivoted to the top surface of the base member of the portable computer, two spring members for supporting the touch panel in an inclined position relative to the base member of the portable computer to support the swivel display of the portable computer in an inclined open position, two latches slidably mounted on the base member of the portable computer for locking the touch panel to the base member of the portable computer in a received position, and an operating bar for pressing by the user to disengage the latches from the touch panel for enabling the touch panel to be forced outwards from the received position to the inclined position by the spring members for supporting the swivel display in the inclined open position.

Abstract: An LVDS switch control device for a portable apparatus is disclosed, which has an LVDS transducer, which transforms the image information for the portable apparatus into LVDS signals; a buffer receiving the LVDS signals transmitted by the connection pedestal as the portable apparatus is assembled on the connection pedestal; a detector producing a correct assembling signal as the portable apparatus is correctly assembled on the connection pedestal; and an LVDS switcher having a first input end, a second input end and an output end, wherein the first input end connects with the detector. When the detector produces the correct assembling signal, the output end of the LVDS switcher will produce a signal that disables the LVDS transducer and enables the buffer so that the LVDS signals outputted by the connection pedestal will be transmitted to a display panel of the portable apparatus.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a flexible lighting method utilizing on a portable electronic device, which allows a color change for a LED of the portable device. In addition to allowing users to change the color displayed on the LED according to personal preference, the present invention can further detect the condition of the power supply device and display various colors to indicate each different condition of the power supply device, thus increasing the convenience during the course of the operation.
