Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically reordering checks for a plurality of accounts utilizing checks. For each of the plurality of accounts, a number of checks written may be determined from a most recent check order. The number of checks written may comprise a number of checks cleared and a number of stop payment orders made. Also, for each of the plurality of accounts, a check usage rate for the account may be determined. The check usage rate may be proportional to a number of checks written per unit time. Additionally, for each of the plurality of accounts a time-to-exhaustion for the account may be determined considering the number of checks written and the check usage rate for the account. Also, for each of the plurality of accounts, when the time-to-exhaustion drops below a threshold, an order of new checks directed to a customer associated with the account may be initiated.

The user interface may comprise a first axis describing a desired level of involvement of the user in investment decisions and a second axis describing a risk tolerance of the user. The user interface may also comprise a first icon representing a first position on the first and second axes and a second icon representing a second position on the first and second axes. When the first or second icons are activated, the interface may display a description of respective example investors having investment characteristics corresponding to the respective first and second positions on the axes. The user interface may also comprise first and second slider bars corresponding to the respective axes. The slider bars may be movable in response to a signal from a first input device in communication with the computer system.

The family purchase card may be established for a principal owner of a family in association with a household account held at the financial institution. The family purchase card may include a total purchase limit that can be allocated among one or more secondary purchase cards associated with various cardholders within the family. Different parameters may be configured for the secondary purchase cards, such as purchase limits, billing arrangements, activation or deactivation rules, and financial development milestone rules. The family purchase card may promote development of financial management skills and fiscal responsibility for various members of the family.

Abstract: A method for one of approving and denying a credit offering to a borrower is disclosed. The method includes calculating a probability of default rating of the borrower and calculating a loss given default rating for the borrower. The method also includes integrating the probability of default rating and the loss given default rating with other information relating to the credit offering to produce a credit memorandum and automatically outputting the credit memorandum to a user so that the user can recommend one of approval and denial of the credit offering.
