Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a vehicle carrier box having a lid and a base. The carrier box has first and second longitudinal sides and first and second transverse sides. The lid and the base are connected by a first and a second lid lifter, the first lid lifter being arranged at the first transverse side and the second lid lifter being arranged at the second transverse side. Moreover, the first lid lifter includes a first pivotable link arm connecting the lid to the base, and the second lid lifter comprises a second pivotable link arm connecting the lid to the base, the first and second lid lifters furthermore including an equalization arrangement for equalization of the forces exerted by the first and second lid lifters on the lid upon opening of the lid.
Abstract: A bicycle carrier convertible between a first configuration in which one or more bicycles are accommodated and a second extended configuration in which one or more additional bicycles are accommodated for transport on a carrying vehicle. The bicycle carrier can include a vehicle engaging frame configured to be mounted on a carrying vehicle. An elongate rearward extending support member can be coupled to the frame at a proximate end of the support member by a variably configurable hub configured to set the support member in a plurality of orientations relative to the frame. A manual actuator can be operably coupled to the variably configurable hub by a linkage. A distal end of the support member can be positioned away from the frame and configured to be alternately coupled to the actuator, or an add-on support member that accommodates one or more additional bicycles coupled to the bicycle carrier.
Abstract: Disclosed are a load carrier foot for supporting a load bar on a vehicle, a load carrier bracket for coupling a load carrier foot to a vehicle and a load carrier comprising such a load carrier foot and a load carrier bracket. The load carrier foot comprises a holder adapted to receive the load carrier bracket. The holder comprises a sleeve portion defining an accommodating space which is configured to partially accommodate the load carrier bracket.
Abstract: The invention concerns a cargo carrier comprising abase having a trough shape with an interior space for stowing goods to be transported therein and an openable and closable lid hingedly coupled with the base. The cargo carrier further comprises an add-on portion attached to at least one of the base and the lid, wherein the add-on portion enlarges the overall external volume of the cargo carrier. The invention further concerns a method for manufacturing such a cargo carrier.

Abstract: A vehicle load carrier includes a load carrying bar. The load carrying bar has a height, a width, and a length and includes a channel having a width, a height, and a length. The channel has a channel floor portion, first and second channel walls, an opening, and a cover arranged to seal a portion of said opening. The channel further includes a first entrance for introducing a fastening member of a load carrying bar accessory. The vehicle load carrier further includes a first end piece arranged to seal said first entrance of said channel. The vehicle load carrier has a tapered lead-in portion at said first entrance to facilitate entry of said fastening member into said channel.
Abstract: An attachment device for a load carrier includes a housing, a first attachment member, a second attachment member, an actuation member, and a locking system. The first and second attachment members apply a clamping force to an elongate member (such as a cross bar of a roof rack) between the first attachment member and the second attachment member. The actuation member is configured to apply a closing force to the first attachment member and is maneuverable from an open position to a closed position. The locking system is configured to resiliently accumulate a portion of the closing force when the closing force applied to the actuation member or the first attachment member exceeds a predefined load, regardless of the size of the elongate member but within a range of motion of the first and second attachment members, during the transition from its open position to its locked position.
Abstract: Disclosed is a load carrier foot for supporting a load bar on a vehicle. The load carrier foot comprises a locking mechanism for releasably locking the load bar on the load carrier foot. Furthermore, the locking mechanism is configured to automatically return into a locking state in which the load bar is locked on the load carrier foot.
Abstract: A bicycle carrier includes a bicycle cradle. The bicycle cradle includes a through hole defining an inner surface and a slot through a portion of an outer surface of the bicycle cradle and a portion of the inner surface. The through hole is configured to receive a bicycle carrier support arm disposed therethrough. The slot is configured to allow a fastener to be coupled to the bicycle carrier support arm. An assembly for a bicycle carrier includes a bicycle cradle including a storage cavity and an anti-sway member coupled to the bicycle cradle and configured to secure a bicycle frame loaded onto the bicycle carrier. The anti-sway member is configured to be disposed at least partially within the storage cavity of the bicycle cradle in a storage configuration.
Abstract: A carriage having a frame which includes a plurality of elongated frame components. A first attachment point couples a first and second elongated frame component. A second attachment point couples a third and fourth elongated frame component. A transverse elongated frame component couples to the first and second attachment points. A rotation lock is disposed on the transverse elongated frame component. The rotation lock is configured to prevent rotation of the transverse elongated frame component in a locked configuration.
Abstract: A luggage compression panel for compressing items accommodated in an interior space of luggage. The luggage compression panel includes, but is not limited to, a supporting structure defining a supporting area, and at least one locking mechanism for releasably fixing an engaging member of the luggage on the supporting structure.
Abstract: Disclosed is a roof rack attachment arrangement for a roof rack for carrying a load on a vehicle roof including an elongated attachment member body. The attachment member body has a length along a longitudinal axis thereof. The attachment member body includes a first portion that is configured to be attached to a vehicle and a second portion that is configured to be attached to a roof rack. The attachment member body is configured to be movable between an operative position and a storage position.

Abstract: A jaw member for a support assembly for securing a bicycle to a load carrier for a vehicle. The jaw member includes a frame work structure formed by at least one support element and at least one rib. The frame work structure is adapted to enable the jaw member to withstand a relative high amount of tensile stress while still being relatively light weight.
Abstract: A drive mechanism for a load carrier includes a slip mechanism connected to a drive shaft and a retaining member configured to retain the slip mechanism. The slip mechanism includes a first member having a slot formed in a perimeter of the first member. The slot is configured to provide for easier rotation of the first member together with the retaining member.
Abstract: A carrier rack mountable to a vehicle includes a splined member, a first arm rotationally coupled about the splined member, and a latch coupled to the first arm. The splined member includes a plurality of splines disposed along an external surface of the splined member. The splined member is disposed through an aperture in a proximal end of the first arm. The latch is configured to engage the splined member to fix the first arm about the splined member.
