  • Patent number: 10112265
Abstract: This invention provides a decorating device for vehicle-interior components, which can accurately provide gradation on the design of the surface of a resin component. The decorating device comprises a laser-irradiating device and a control device. The control device comprises a virtual-decorating surface 5a that is deformed so as to have a different curvature than the surface of the actual decorating surface 5, thus allowing for the drawing of designs thereon. The control device prepares laser-irradiating data based on the drawing-data, and it controls the laser-irradiating device based on the laser-irradiating data. The laser-irradiating device irradiates the laser L1 focused on the virtual-decorating surface 5a and conducts the laser processing on the actual decorating surface 5, with the focal point of the laser L1 having been shifted from the actual decorating surface 5.

  • Patent number: 10099249
Abstract: This invention provides a method for manufacturing a decorative-part that makes it surely and easily possible to provide fine hairline-patterns that are similar to real texture by a laser-drawing process. By the method for manufacturing the decorative part, a laser-drawing process is done onto the coating-film 21 that has been formed on the surface 13 of the three-dimensional part-material 12. In this process a laser-processed groove-group 23 consists of a number of laser-processed grooves 24, 25, thus providing the hairline-pattern 22 on the coating-film 21. The laser processed groove-group 23 consists of various types of arc-like laser-processed grooves 24, 25 that comprise different curvature radii R of 1,000 mm or more. The arc-like laser-processed grooves 24, 25 are arranged extending appropriately in the same direction and of which each groove crosses at three degrees or less in irregular overlaps that show the line of each groove being wider than any other part.

  • Patent number: 9545814
Abstract: A method for decorating a given part is designed to print designs onto a coat layer deteriorating the coat layer on the surface of the given part. In the coat layer-forming process, in spreading the metallic-coating material containing aluminum flake onto the surface of the resin compact, the coat layer is formed on the surface of it. In a laser-printing process, a laser is irradiated on the condition of being able to maintain the same state of the coat layer before and after irradiating the laser, so as to reduce the aspect ratio of the micronized-metallic powder, which is the average value of the ratio of the maximum dimension of the micronized-metallic powder to the average value of the minimum dimension of the micronized-metallic powder, which laser irradiation eventually thermally deforms the first scale-shaped micronized-metallic powder into a spherical shape in the coat layer to print designs on the film.
