Abstract: A container assembly is presented that includes a container and a collar supported by the container. The container possesses a bottom surface, at least one wall with at least one top edge extending from the bottom surface. The collar includes at least one inner wall and at least one outer wall, with at least one curved edge joining the at least one outer wall and the at least one inner wall. The inner and outer walls form a channel. In one embodiment, a flexible liner is held in place by the collar.
Abstract: A jewelry tree comprising a base having a concave top surface, a tube having a first tube end, a second tube end, and at least two branches extending therefrom, and a rod having a first rod end, a second rod end, and at least two branches extending therefrom, where the first tube end is adapted to be secured to the base, the tube is arranged to extend upwardly from the base, the rod is adapted to slidably and telescopingly engage the tube, the rod is rotatable within the tube, and each branch is adapted to hold at least one item above the base.
Abstract: A picture frame assembly, including: a first picture frame including a first connecting element, located at a first end of the first picture frame, and extending away from the first end, the first end including a first surface facing an interior of the first picture frame; and a second picture frame including a second connecting element, located at a second end of the second picture frame, and extending away from the second end, the second end including a second surface facing an interior of the second picture frame. The first connecting element is engaged with the second surface. The second connecting element is engaged with the first surface. The first and second picture frames are fixed to each other via the contact of the first and second connecting elements with the second and first picture frames, respectively.
Abstract: A paper towel holder having a mounting bracket having a first side member and a second side member which are substantially parallel to one another, a front member operatively arranged transversely and perpendicularly to the first and second side members and fixedly secured to the front ends of each side member, a first mounting arm having a first mounting flange, and a second mounting arm having a second mounting flange, where the first side member comprises a first tripartite track fixedly secured to the first mounting arm, and the second side member comprises a second tripartite track fixedly secured to the second mounting arm, where each of the tripartite tracks slopes downwardly with respect to the first and second mounting flanges; and a tube arranged transversely to the first and second tripartite tracks and arranged to move along the tracks.
Abstract: A drapery rod assembly adapted to be secured to a substantially planar surface comprising a right bracket and a left bracket. The right bracket includes a substantially gamma shaped wall portion having a slot, a mounting plate that is operatively arranged to be mounted to the surface. The mounting plate is operatively arranged to complementarily engage the slot and hold the wall portion. A substantially J-shaped extension portion that extends outward from the wall portion and terminates in a rod attachment end arranged perpendicularly with respect to the mounting plate and in parallel spaced apart relation to the surface. The left bracket is an enantiomer of the right bracket. A first and second rod, each rod includes a proximate and distal end. The distal end of the first rod is releasably engaged with the left bracket, and the distal end of the second rod is releasably engaged with the right bracket.
Abstract: The present invention is a multiframe and multiplanar picture holder that includes an outer frame that encloses a plurality of display frames such that each of said plurality of display frames is in contact with at least one other of said plurality of picture holders. Attachment segments within and/or around the outer frame have slots or other structures to receive extension frames each of which extend from the attachment segments. Both the display frames and the extension frames may be used to hold photos or similar display items.
Abstract: The present invention is a bird feeder that includes a base with a perimeter surrounding a floor, the floor having a raised center portion and at least one sloping portion extending to the perimeter; an edge attached to and extending from the perimeter; a plurality of risers extending from the perimeter at least partly up the at least one sloping portion toward the raised center portion. The subject bird feeder also includes an outer shell having at least one outer wall and supported by the plurality of risers; an inner shell having at least one inner wall and shaped to fit closely inside the outer shell; and, a removable lid shaped to cover the top of the outer shell. The outer shell may include cutouts that extend through the walls. The inner shell may be transparent. The bird feeder may also include a cord to allow it to be hung.
Abstract: The present invention broadly comprises a garbage can including a can portion with an open top and a lid with a bag ring pivotally attached to the lid and arranged to pivot onto and off the upper rim. Also included is a pedal assembly attached to a riser that moves the lid off the container when the pedal is depressed. A damper is fixedly attached to the outer surface of the container bottom wall and operatively attached to the riser. In a preferred embodiment, when the pedal is released, the damper prevents the riser from falling freely thereby causing the lid to close slowly.
