Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for online distribution of content by receiving, from a user's mobile device, a request for a web page hosted by a publisher's CMS; applying a rules engine to analyze a received URL according to a set of rules identifying one or more website types and/or referrers; if the received URL satisfies the rules engine, redirecting the received request to a syndication server system hosted within a global CDN; adding a URL of the web page to a missing content queue and redirecting the request to the publisher's CMS if the CDN syndication server does not contain a suitable mobile-formatted version of the web page; and delivering a package of binary compressed content of the web page to a stub page cached at the user's mobile device by the CDN syndication server, using recirculation and monetization components chosen by the publisher.

Abstract: The present teaching relates to generating user profiles with semantic knowledge. A first information associated with a user is obtained. One or more entities are identified from the first information. The one or more entities are augmented based on second information to generate a set of augmented entities. The set of augmented entities are clustered into a set of hierarchical clusters. A set of user profiles is generated based on the set of hierarchical clusters so that the user profile is to be used to personalize content recommendation.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods are provided. A user profile database may be analyzed to identify a first set of user profiles associated with conversion events associated with a first entity and/or a second set of user profiles that are not associated with conversion events associated with the first entity. A first set of vector representations may be generated based upon the first set of user profiles. A second set of vector representations may be generated based upon the second set of user profiles. A request for content associated with a client device may be received. A first vector representation may be generated based upon a first user profile associated with the client device. A user funnel stage score associated with the first entity may be generated based upon the first vector representation, the first set of vector representations and/or the second set of vector representations.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for selecting content items for presentation via client devices are provided. A content event associated with a content item performed by a client device may be detected. The content item may be associated with an entity. A conversion event, associated with the entity, performed by the client device may be detected. A duration of time between the content event and the conversion event may be determined. An attribution score may be determined based upon the duration of time. A plurality of attribution scores, comprising the attribution score, may be stored in an attribution data structure associated with the content item. Responsive to receiving a request for content associated with a second client device, the content item may be selected from a plurality of content items for presentation via the second client device based upon the attribution data structure.

Abstract: Moments of interest of an event may be automatically detected, encoded as snippets, and distributed to users subscribed to a channel of this event. In various embodiments, a moment of interest of an event is to be automatically detected, e.g., based on a near real-time cue on a social network or features in the event transmission. Further, a snippet can be encoded from the transmission of the event based on the detected moment of interest. The snippet may be put on a market place to be bid by various content distributors. Eventually, the snippet may be distributed to an interested user, e.g., via a channel subscribed by the user. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Abstract: A distribution of a content selection being distributed throughout a wireless mesh network may be tracked. A wireless device in the wireless mesh network enables the content selection to be exchanged. Wireless devices then exchange the content, and a network topology is recorded in response. Finally, the network topology is reported to a reporting agent.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining a quantity of network location visitors that are likely generated or encouraged by specific offline events. A corresponding number of leads may then be attributed to and associated with those specific events. Ongoing conversion activity of those visitors may be tracked and associated with the offline events. Conversions of those visitors may be attributed entirely or partially to one or more specific offline events. The effectiveness of each offline may then be evaluated based on aggregate lead and conversion information.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to processing of notifications displayed on computing devices. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed comprising receiving a notification and querying at least one activity database that records historical interactions of a user. The method then receives a priority indicator in response to the querying and determines whether the priority indicator indicates a high priority. If so, the method generates, and in some embodiments displays, a second notification.

One method includes receiving, from a device associated with a user, one or more of: a request to receive information about an asset or component of the facility, and a request to receive maintenance of an asset or component of the facility, wherein the request includes an identifier associated with the user and an identifier associated with the asset or component of the facility; accessing, based on the request, a database storing one or more user identifiers and one or more identifiers associated with a plurality of assets or components of the facility; and transmitting, to the device associated with the user, either a presentation of information about the asset or component of the facility, or a representation of a ticket for initiating maintenance of the asset or component of the facility.

Abstract: A system and method for ranking query-advertisement combinations is disclosed. Embodiments use an online component to enhance and rank query ad combinations. The query ad combination is then reranked with a trained factorization machine. The subsequent list of ranked query-ad combinations is then output. The output may be to an auction for determine ad-query combinations having the greatest expected revenue.

Abstract: The present teaching relates to providing content supply adjustment. A first dataset associated with user interactions directed to one or more content items placed on a target property and a second dataset associated with user interactions directed to the one or more content items places on a reference property are received for evaluation. Further, a cost of placing the one or more content items on the target property is determined based on the first and second datasets.

A method includes: receiving a communication comprising a plurality of strings; assigning a score to each of the strings, wherein the score assigned to each of the strings corresponds to a frequency of usage of the respective string for a first function relative to an overall frequency of usage of the respective string; determining a respective total sum for each of a plurality of sequences in the communication, the respective total sum determined as a sum of the scores for each string in the respective sequence; and extracting a first sequence of the sequences from the communication based on the total sum for the first sequence. In one embodiment, the total sum includes an additional score for each of a starting word and an ending word of the first word sequence, wherein each respective additional score is associated with a probability that the starting (or ending) word is used as the first (or last word) of an address.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for dynamic scan code generation are provided. For example, a meta tag, comprising a user identifier of a user and a promotion code for a consumer good, is extracted from information associated with the user, such as from an email sent to the user. When a current location of a computing device of the user is within a threshold distance of a consumer good location that sells the consumer good, a scan code is dynamically generated based upon the user identifier and the promotion code. A notification of the promotion code, a description of the consumer good location, and/or other information is provided to the user such as through a push notification. The scan code is displayed through the computing device for applying the promotion code to a purchase from the consumer good location for the consumer good.

For example, audio received via a microphone of a first device may be monitored. The disclosed systems and methods determine breaking or trending news stories from social media activity, which are then communicated to users via personalized delivery. Thus, the disclosed systems and methods leverage social data, expert knowledge and/or user feedback, which are all available on-line, to determine breaking news stories, which are then delivered to users in a personalized manner specific to each user.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure may be used to gather, rank, categorize, and perform other processing of various types of content. In some embodiments, content items such as text, images, video, and other content are received from a variety of different sources and are processed to generate an article containing selected content items. While there may be hundreds or thousands of separate articles and stories regarding a particular topic, embodiments of the present disclosure help provide users with a single concise article that contains high-quality content items selected from among a potentially vast number of disparate sources.
