  • Patent number: 11144605
Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for transmitting content items using search history profiles are provided. For example, a first request to access a web page may be received. The first request may be associated with a device. The first request may be analyzed to determine a query. The query may be stored in a search history profile associated with the device. The search history profile may comprise indications of a plurality of queries. A second request for content may be received from a second device associated with the search history profile. Responsive to receiving the second request, a content item may be selected from a content items database based upon the query. The content item may be transmitted to the second device. The device may be the same as the second device. Alternatively and/or additionally, the device may be different than the second device.

  • Patent number: 11144186
Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for layering content objects for a user interface are provided. For example, a z-axis is defined for the user interface. A set of layers are defined along positions of the z-axis. Content objects, such as images, text, or other user interface elements, are ranked and assigned to layers based upon such ranks. The user interface is rendered on a display of a computing device, such that content objects of layers below a current layer are not displayed. In response to receiving user input for a currently displayed content object, the user interface is modified to display content objects of a layer that is below the current layer along the z-axis.

  • Patent number: 11144968
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media directed at controlling an advertising campaign. In embodiments, a method includes receiving a desired cost indicator. The desired cost indicator can indicate an average cost per unit a user would like to stay below for a current portion of an advertising campaign. The method can further include monitoring bid transactions of an advertising market associated with the advertising campaign to determine an observed cost measurement from the bid transactions. Based, at least in part, on the desired cost indicator and the observed cost measurement, a price control may be determined that can be utilized to adjust a bid price for the advertising campaign. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed herein.

  • Patent number: 11146527
Abstract: Devices in enterprise-scale networks are often tracked by asset catalogs that record the physical locations of respective devices. Such tracking often involves administratively heavy communication of device deployment, and communication or recording errors may lead to missing catalog entries or entries that incorrectly identify the physical locations of the devices. Instead, a MAC address encoding may be established that maps physical locations to particular MAC addresses, such as representing a building, floor, room, row, and rack of a device in the second through sixth MAC address octets. A locator device with a network adapter featuring a selected MAC address that encodes a particular physical address may be inserted into a network device at the physical location. The physical location of the network device may thereafter be queried for the MAC addresses of connected devices, and the selected MAC address may be translated into the physical location of the network device.

  • Patent number: 11140211
Abstract: A web server and a shared caching server are described for serving dynamic content to users of at least two different types, where the different types of users receive different versions of the dynamic content. A version of the dynamic content includes a validation header, such as an ETag, that stores information indicative of the currency of the dynamic content and information indicative of a user type for which the version of the dynamic content is intended. In response to a user request for the dynamic content, the shared caching server sends a validation request to the web server with the validation header information. The web server determines, based on the user type of the requestor and/or on the currency of the cached dynamic content whether to instruct the shared caching server to send the cached content or to send updated content for serving to the user.

  • Patent number: 11140095
Abstract: One or more methods and/or techniques for content resource allocation are provided herein. A user, of a client device, may access content. Real time user traffic associated with accessing the content may be determined. A trend may be identified from the real time user traffic for the content. The real time user traffic may be indicative of an amount of the content distribution resources used to provide a threshold level of service to users. Responsive to the trend indicating a projected increase in real time user traffic for the content, the content distribution resources may be allocated to the content based upon the projected increase, such that the allocated content distribution resources provide the threshold level of service to the user.

  • Patent number: 11140103
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content providing, searching and/or hosting systems supported by or configured with devices, servers and/or platforms. The disclosed systems and methods provide a framework for delivering electronic messages to a recipient in an optimized manner based on current real-world and digital activities associated with the recipient. Once a message sent by a sender is received by the message platform, the message and information related to a user's activity is analyzed, and a delivery condition is determined by the messaging platform. The platform then sends the message according to that delivery condition, such that it is delivered to the user only upon the platform relaying the message thereon when the condition is satisfied or occurs.

  • Patent number: 11138639
Abstract: Embodiments are directed at controlling an online advertising campaign to minimize the effective cost per event or impression. Such embodiments include receiving a desired pacing indicator and a maximum cost indicator. The desired pacing indicator indicates a desired pacing that a user would like to achieve in the campaign. The maximum cost indicator indicates a maximum cost per event or impression the user would like to stay below in the campaign. Embodiments further include monitoring bid transactions of an advertising market of the campaign. Based on monitored bid transactions, an observed pacing measurement and/or an observed cost measurement is determined. Price and allocation control signals are determined based on the desired pacing indicator, the maximum cost indicator, the observed pacing measurement, and the observed cost measurement. The control signals are utilized to adjust a bid price and/or a bid allocation for the campaign.

  • Patent number: 11126830
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in computerized security and content monitoring, hosting and providing devices, systems and/or platforms. The disclosed systems and methods provide a novel framework that adaptively distinguishes between known people versus unknown people based on a dynamically applied, anonymous facial recognition methodology. The disclosed framework provides such functionality by recognizing faces within captured images without storing any information or annotations regarding or revealing the captured person's identity. The framework is configured to adaptively learn to distinguish between faces seen for the first time and faces it has previously seen by locally processing a captured image and only sending face embeddings to a network location for future comparisons of subsequently, anonymously captured images.

  • Patent number: 11127035
Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for aggregated cost per action prediction are provided. Cost and conversion count data, comprising costs for a set of content items to be displayed to users and a count of conversions corresponding to actions performed by users in response to being provided with the set of content items, is tracked. The cost and conversion count data is inputted into a set of decay calculators that utilize different decay strategies. Cost per action predictions by the set of decay calculators for a content item are weighted to create an aggregated cost per action prediction, wherein the weights are based upon whether decay calculators correctly or incorrectly predicted cost per actions for the set of content items.
