Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for producing three-dimensional models by a layering technique, at least one print head (8) being provided for selective dispensing of at least one material onto a target surface in the form of droplets. The print head (8) is in engagement with a receptacle at two points spaced a distance apart, the position and alignment of the print head (8) relative to the target surface is steplessly adjustable in all spatial directions via these two points, and the receptacle and the target surface are movable in relation to each other.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for manufacture of three-dimensional models by means of a 3D printing process, whereby a spreader device is used to deposit particulate material in layers on a build platform and the particulate material flow, which occurs perpendicular to the spreading direction, is transferred into containers that are actively cleaned by sliders or brushes at the spreader device. It exploits the fact that particulate material that is moves dynamically can only bridge small height differences. The arrangement can be implemented in a space-saving manner beneath the spreading plane.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for constructing models in layers. A region for constructing models, preferably a construction platform, and a material applying device (4, 5) for applying material onto the region are provided. The material applying device (4, 5) is arranged in a movable manner over the region. The material applying device (4, 5) is designed as a portal (1, 1?) such that the material applying device can be moved over the region at least via two linear guides (2) arranged at opposite sides of the region, and the material applying device is arranged around the region such that a portal (1, 1?) is formed by at least two portions that extend laterally with respect to the region. At least one additional material applying device (4, 5) for applying an additional material onto the region is provided.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a part using a deposition technique, especially a part in the form of a casting mold or a casting core. A layered composite is built up in layers, the individual layers each containing particulate material and binding material as well as optionally, a treatment agent. The layers maintain a predetermined porosity. The binding agent can be hardened especially with a fluid hardening agent. The layer composite is built up in the absence of the hardening agent. Once construction is complete, the layer composite is flooded with the fluid hardening agent using the residual porosity of the predetermined partial areas and in this way, is hardened.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for conveying particulate material during the manufacture of patterns in layers, wherein powder is conveyed out of a reservoir into a spreader unit and, if applicable, excess powder fed to the spreader unit is again conveyed back into the reservoir and wherein this conveying takes place in a closed conveying circuit.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for implementing layered construction of plastic models, whereby a first material is applied to a building platform and thereupon a second material is selectively applied and these two application steps are respectively repeated layer after layer until the desired model is obtained. The two materials form a solid body when a suitable mixture ratio is used. The first material includes a particle material and the second material is applied via a print head and contains N-vinylformamide.
