Abstract: A cover arrangement for a rotary door operator of a transit vehicle includes a cover with a cavity for encasing the components of the rotary door operator and with an aperture for engaging an elastomer seal coupled around an output shaft of the rotary door operator. An elastomer grommet is provided for enabling coupling of the manual release cable or handle. Additional apertures may be provided for routing of the fluid pressure lines and electrical wires.

Abstract: A China Type 120 Brake Valve ECP Manifold includes a manifold block in fluid communication with at least one source of fluid pressure for communicating fluid pressure signals. A plurality of apertures formed through such manifold block allows fluid communication therethrough. The manifold block is engageable intermediate a pipe bracket and a service portion. A first passageway in such manifold block has fluid communication with a first aperture at a first end and has a second end adjacent an upper face of the manifold block. A second passageway in such manifold block has fluid communication with such service portion at a first end and has a second end adjacent an upper face of the manifold block. A third passageway in such manifold block has fluid communication with a second aperture at a first end and has a second end adjacent an upper face of such manifold block.

Abstract: Disclosed is an operator warning system for use in connection with a locomotive having a horn system with a horn activation actuator and a horn device for producing a noise. The operator warning system includes an onboard computer system with a database having grade crossing data and locomotive data thereon. The onboard computer system is in communication with the horn system. The operator warning system also includes a warning device for providing an audio, visual and/or tactile indicator to an operator of the locomotive based upon the grade crossing data, locomotive data and/or actuation condition of the horn activation actuator. A method for improving locomotive operator vigilance is also disclosed.

Abstract: An electronically controlled pneumatic (ECP) end of train (EOT) pneumatic emulation system allows fill train operation of standalone ECP unit trains, even with non-ECP equipped locomotives. The emulation system is based on close integration with the EOT system and allows operation of unit trains equipped with “all electric” ECP without pneumatic overlay or emulation capability, using standard, non-ECP equipped locomotives.
