Abstract: The method and system may provide a seamless handoff of user information from a drugstore to a call agent. When a customer communicates with a drugstore device regarding a drugstore-related inquiry, the drugstore device attempts to identify an answer to the drugstore-related inquiry. When the drugstore device does not identify an answer to the drugstore-related inquiry, the drugstore device initiates communication between the customer and a contact center. A transcribed version of the communication may be stored in a database accessible by the contact center along with additional user information for the customer related to the customer's experiences with the drugstore. The user information may be provided to a call agent's contact center device for display and in this manner, the call agent may be made aware of the communication to avoid asking repeat questions and to quickly and efficiently answer the customer's drugstore-related inquiry.

Abstract: A method and system may provide an automated pharmacy processing system which automatically processes an electronic prescription by converting the electronic prescription into a pharmacy prescription record. In this way, an electronic prescription can be filled by a pharmacist without manual data entry. The system receives an electronic prescription and compares data from the electronic prescription with entries in one or more pharmacy database(s). When there is a match between the electronic prescription data and an entry in the one or more pharmacy database(s), the system populates the pharmacy prescription record with data from the matching pharmacy database entry. If all of the data fields from the pharmacy prescription record have been populated the pharmacist can fill the electronic prescription.

Abstract: A method and system for allocating displays to a plurality of stores grouped into a plurality of store configurations is presented. It includes receiving a plurality of counts, that specifies spaces available in the store configuration for one of a plurality of types of displays, a ranking of a plurality of displays, wherein the ranking is based on a benefit of each of the plurality of displays for the store configuration, and when the plurality of displays are to be allocated to the plurality of stores; determining a subset of the plurality of displays that meet one or more conditions related to at least one of a forecasted sell through or forecasted margin of the plurality of displays for the store, allocating at least some of the displays based on the ranking of the displays, and generating an indication of the allocated displays for output to a user.

Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein can assess electronic messages exchanged between messaging applications, by receiving a first version of an electronic message generated by a messaging application for review by an automated agent messaging application prior to delivery of the electronic message to an electronic device operated by a customer, the electronic message having textual content intended for the customer from an agent associated with the enterprise; automatically generating, by the automated agent messaging application, a second version of the electronic message using one or more machine learning-based models, wherein the second version of the electronic message is an adaptation of the textual content of the first version of the electronic message while maintaining an intent of the first version of the electronic message; and transmitting, to a computing device via a network, the second version of the electronic message.

Abstract: Techniques for automatically securing receptacles of a retailer via an electronic lock include receiving a user request to reserve a receptacle, selecting a suitable receptacle based on one or more conditions, some of which may be specified by the user, and transmitting an electronic locking signal to secure, and thereby reserve, the selected receptacle. An association between the reserved receptacle and the user is stored, and the user is electronically notified. Subsequently, an electronic signal indicative of the identification of the user (or of the user's agent) is locally received. Upon determination that the user is expected and associated with the reserved receptacle, the techniques include causing an electronic unlocking signal to be transmitted to the electronic lock, thereby unlocking the receptacle.

Abstract: Systems and methods for product imaging and provisioning include a mobile application (app) installed on an imaging device, where the mobile app activates the imaging device to generate an image of a product tag associated with an unavailable product at a first location. The mobile app determines, based on the image, a product indicator associated with the unavailable product. A provisioning app, executing on a remote device, receives the product indicator associated with the unavailable product. The provisioning app also receives a user indicator associated with a first user and executes one or more product provisioning rules that determine, based on a product availability database and the user indicator, an availability result. The availability result indicates whether the unavailable product will be available to the first user. The provisioning app is further operable to send the availability result to the imaging device for presentation by the imaging device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing and facilitating geofencing features associated with electronic devices are disclosed. According to certain aspects, an entity may own or manage a set of retail stores. A server associated with the entity may receive an estimated location of an electronic device, and may determine that the estimated location is in proximity to one of the set of retail stores. The server may further calculate a geofencing boundary for the retail store based on certain location-based data, and may determine whether the estimated location of the electronic device is within the geofencing boundary. The server may additionally facilitate certain geofencing features based on the determination.

Abstract: Embodiments are provided for enhancing an in-store experience for a user of an electronic device. According to certain aspects, the electronic device initiates an in-store mode of an application when the electronic device is located within a retail store, where the in-store mode may enable certain functionalities having certain capabilities. The electronic device may detect when it connects to a network within the retail store and, in response, may indicate enhanced capabilities of the functionalities. The user may select an enhanced capability, and the electronic device may facilitate the associated functionality.

Abstract: A locking case system for cosmetic products includes a fixture adapted to receive cosmetic products and a locking case adapted to be coupled to the fixture. Upon coupling the locking case to the fixture, at least one snap member of at least one side wall of the locking case is snapped into at least one receiving portion of the at least one side wall of the fixture. In addition, at least one snap member of a rear wall of the locking case is snapped into at least one receiving aperture in a top edge of a rear wall of the fixture. Further, at least one snap member of a front member of the locking case is snapped into the at least one receiving aperture of a front wall of the fixture to secure the cosmetic products to the fixture.

Abstract: Methods and systems may provide media content via retail display devices and/or portable electronic devices to assist consumers in retail environments. Potentially relevant media content may be intelligently obtained, stored, and/or distributed based on a number of considerations to ensure that relevant content will be available for a variety of consumers having a variety of retail needs. Through specific techniques described herein, the methods and systems herein may overcome technological and logistical challenges associated with distributing content among computing devices that are often limited in computing capabilities. Furthermore, the methods and system herein may provide media content in a manner that promotes authors who create and share media content via social media services.

Abstract: Techniques for automatically tracking, ordering, and replenishing prescription item stock are provided. Based upon a statistical analysis of prescription order transactions, rules may be established to selectively identify which prescription stocked items qualify for automatic stock tracking, ordering, and replenishment. The rules may be based upon metrics such as a daily rate at which each prescription item is dispensed over a specified sampling period as well as the cost of each prescription item. Once qualified, automatic replenishment may be facilitated by calculating stock number minimums and maximums using a statistical analysis of the prescription transaction history for qualifying prescription items. The minimum and maximum stock number values may be used to trigger the generation of purchase orders and to specify how much stock needs to be ordered for each qualifying prescription item as it is replenished.

Abstract: Techniques for providing secured, automatic log-in and authentication of a user to a website via a browser executing at the user's personal electronic device (PED) include generating a token based on an identifier of the PED and a user identifier, and storing the token at the user's PED for use in validating and authenticating the user and device credentials against those stored at back-end system and/or in another memory location at the device. Based on the persisted token (and optionally on a user preference), the user may be automatically logged in as the user navigates across restricted and unrestricted portions of the website, and/or to other websites (e.g., without the user's knowledge). At least these features enable automatic log-in and authentication to be performed on an as-needed basis, and/or on a per-device basis, thereby providing significantly more secure access as compared to known techniques.

Abstract: Security flaps for use with cash trays and cash trays including such security flaps are disclosed. An apparatus includes a cash tray having a base and a plurality of walls that extend from the base and define a plurality of paper-currency compartments. A plurality of distal edges of the walls define openings of the paper-currency compartments. A spring-biased security flap is coupled to the cash tray and adapted to engage or be immediately adjacent the distal edges of the walls of at least one of the paper-currency compartments to cover the corresponding opening.

Abstract: Systems and methods may be provided that may enable an individual to retrieve one or more prescription products (e.g., product refills) from a self-service retrieval location such as a counter, drive-thru, drop box, or kiosk. The individual may identify a medical prescription, and a unique-machine readable code may be generated, wherein the code is associated with the medical prescription and a particular station at an identified retrieval location. The unique machine-readable code may be transmitted to a computing device of the individual, who may scan the code at particular station to retrieve one or more prescription products associated with the medical prescription.
