  • Patent number: 7102084
Abstract: A routing conduit assembly for routing fiber optic jumpers from a raceway includes interconnected hood, curved neck, and vertical body conduits. The conduits have slits which are aligned with one another when the conduits form the assembly. A connector connects the vertical body conduit to a horizontally oriented raceway to mount the assembly to the raceway with the hood conduit positioned above the raceway. The connector includes a fulcrum component which enables the assembly to tilt relative to the raceway. A support stabilizer connects to the vertical body conduit for receiving tubular containers such that the tubular containers are aligned and secured with respect to the assembly. The conduit slits receive jumpers from the raceway for the assembly to enclose and route between the raceway and fiber optic equipment located below the raceway such that the jumpers transition between horizontal and vertical orientations while maintaining a minimum bend radius.

  • Patent number: 7094974
Abstract: A polymer SP insulator comprising an FRP core 1, a sheath 2 having a plurality of sheds 6 provided on outer periphery of FRP core 1, and metal-end-fittings 3, 4 crimped to upper and lower ends of FRP core 1, in which a flat plate 11 for adjusting the overall length dimension after crimping the metal-end-fitting 4 is assembled in the inner bottom of the metal-end-fitting 4, and the overall length dimension is uniformly adjusted by the thickness of the flat plate 11. Further, a stress concentration portion such as cross groove is provided in the outer bottom of the lower Metal-end-fitting 4, and prevents instability by deformation of flange 8 when crimping the Metal-end-fitting 4. In this configuration, in spite of the structure of crimping metal-end-fittings at upper and lower ends of the FRP core, the overall length tolerance, parallelism and eccentricity can be suppressed.

  • Patent number: 7084356
Abstract: The replacement lid for an electromagnetic shielding device is generally planar with stenciled solder segments formed immediately inwardly adjacent from the periphery thereof. The replacement lid is installed onto an electromagnetic shielding device by placing the stenciled solder segments against the walls of the electromagnetic shielding device so that the unstenciled side of the replacement lid is exposed. The installer then applies a heat source to the unstenciled side of the replacement lid thereby melting the solder and forming a bond between the replacement lid and the shielding device. The replacement lid may be manufactured by securing the replacement lid between a platen and a stencil and using a squeegee to apply solder paste through the stencil onto the replacement lid.

  • Patent number: 7084345
Abstract: A slide cover unit including: a substrate board formed with guide slots and slide rails, each guide slot being formed as a curved path with a ridge point; an upper cover having slide channels and formed with a transverse slot, the slide rails of the substrate board being slidably inlaid in the slide channels; and at least one resilient member having a fixed end fixed at an outer end of the slot and a free end equipped with a roller member. The roller member is slidably inlaid in the transverse slot and the guide slots. When the upper cover is moved, the roller member is moved along the transverse slot and guide slots to extend or compress the resilient member. When the roller member passes over the ridge point, by means of the resilient restoring force of the resilient member, the upper cover can further automatically move relative to the substrate board to complete opening/closing operation.
