  • Patent number: 10512592
Abstract: This invention relates to a tamper resistant medication dispenser. The medication dispenser is programmed to dispense a specified dose of medication at a specified interval. The medication dispenser prevents direct access to the medication by the patient. The medication is dispensed to the patient dissolved in a large volume of liquid to prevent intravenous and intranasal abuse. The medication dispenser can be equipped with a self destruct mechanism when tampered with and have the ability to record video for subsequent monitoring, the actual medication ingestion of the medication infused liquid by the patient. It is especially useful for controlled substances which have high potential for abuse such as opioids, benzodiazepines and barbiturates and anesthetic agents and when patient compliance with medications is necessary such as medications for the treatment of contagious diseases.

  • Patent number: 10425703
Abstract: SPF (spray polyurethane foam) insulation applied in a commercial or residential building is the only building product which is manufactured on-site and not in a controlled in-plant environment. One reason for the high cost of SPF is that application of SPF requires large investment capital equipment and a specialized crew for each job. The work is further complex because the crew of each rig manufactures and installs the plural component product with little or no technical off-site guidance or support. We worked to solve this problem by designing a remote monitoring and reporting system which sends live raw parameter data from the spray rig to a support center server. The support center processes the data and provides rig support through our 4 pillars of technology. We designed the system to interface with all proportioner brands used by contractors keeping the user interface and majority of components standard for all.

  • Patent number: 10352887
Abstract: A method for accurately measuring the electrical conductivity of substances. This method incorporates two points of measurement that are isolated from each other. Each of these points is in contact with the substance to be measured. A continuous, constant electrical current is passed through the substance at the measurement points by means of an electrical force that is not constant but varies depending upon the amount of electrical force required to maintain the constant electrical current through the substance. This constant current is passed through the substance in two directions. This change in direction is achieved by reversing the polarity of the electrical force across the two measurement points. The time periods for each of the two directions of constant current flow are equal. The amount of electrical force or voltage that is required to maintain this constant amount of current is directly related to the resistance of the substance.

  • Patent number: 10323511
Abstract: A rotary pulser for transmitting information in a mud pulse telemetry system of a drilling operation. The pulser has two rotors mounted adjacent each other so that obstruction of the passages formed between the blades in one pulser by the blades of the other pulser creates pressure pulses in the drilling fluid. Each rotor is separately controlled and can be rotated continuously in one direction or oscillated. The ability to rotate each rotor separately provides flexibility in the pulser's operating mode, so as to allow more efficient generation of pulses, and also enhances the ability of the pulser to clear debris that would otherwise jam or obstruct the pulser.

  • Patent number: 10321210
Abstract: Provided is a sensor system provided with: a terminal apparatus that has a sensor; and a base station that communicates with the terminal apparatus. The terminal apparatus stores acquisition frequency of a measurement data set to be transmitted to the base station, in measurement data sets of the sensor, and transmits first data that includes a reference time of an acquisition period of the measurement data sets of the sensor and the acquisition frequency, and second data that corresponds to the first data and that includes multiple measurement data sets, of the sensor, which have been acquired at the acquisition frequency in the acquisition period. The base station identifies the acquisition time of each of the measurement data sets included in the second data corresponding to the first data, on the basis of the reference time and the acquisition frequency included in the first data.

  • Patent number: 10306340
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed that sense vibrations caused by flow of water in pipes, and covert the sensed vibrations into water usage data which can be analyzed, aggregated, and made available to users. In one embodiment, mechanical vibrations of a pipe are sensed, via a piezo-electric sensor attached to an external surface of the pipe, to form analog electrical signals. The analog electrical signals are converted into time-sampled digital data via a microcontroller having analog-to-digital conversion capability. A frequency analysis is performed on the time-sampled digital data, via at least one processor, to generate spectral data. The spectral data is analyzed, via the at least one processor, to determine whether the vibrations are caused by a fluid flowing through the pipe.
